Albert Breer: Brady has "no restrictions at all" for practices

Our old friend Albert Breer at the Sporting News says his sources say that Brady is ready to practice and will have no restrictions whatsover.

Great to hear. Sounding like barring a setback, Brady won't even start training camp on the PUP unless Belichick decides to do so not to burn him out early in camp. A more likely scenario is that he will take days or practices off like he has the last few season.

"He comes in, he does his work and takes it home to his wife," Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss said Friday. "The only thing I can say is everybody's up there working hard and getting ready for the season."

Moss is really coming into his own with the Patriots :D

yep, so after working out with his team mates, but then he gets an extra special workout in with Giselle!!

Breer is an excellent source for this as well. I just hope we give Brady some reps during the preseason to work out the rust before he comes in against Buffahole.

So then he's "probable" with a shoulder injury? :D

I read this article and I had to curb my enthusiam I was so damn excited to hear such positive news from the media on this. I have no doubt Tom will work extra hard to be back to his form and deal with the mental aspect of the recovery. There has been so much focus on what the Patriots need to do and the so-called vacant OLB position. I remember when Eugene Wilson and Asante Samuel were rookies and the same cries were said then. But we plugged in young talent and Bill made it happen. Let's get past the OLB talk and focus on the large core of very talented players we already have and how the influx of new talent compliments an already great team. I love the additions, believe in Bill, and can NOT wait for TFB to open the season for us on Monday Night!!!! My neck hairs stand up just thinking of it! Great article and I shared it with all my fellow Pats fans and more.

Aerobic conditioning is very important. ;)

Brady didn't really start 2008 with a clean bill of health though, just saying....

Breer did a phone interview with Tanguay and Felger on the Comcast show this evening reiterating the contents of the SN piece. Then Tomase came on and, of course, said he wasn't convinced and had to wait and see Brady in a real game. Usual shoddy work by Tomase because neither Breer's piece nor his phone interview centered upon Brady's game-readiness (why would they at this stage?), but, rather, simply indicated he was on-schedule healing-wise. Of course, then the 3 participants (Tanguay, Felger and Tomase) put on a show of buffoonery which had to be seen to be believed. Within a 2 or 3 minute period, they spoke disparagingly (in varying degrees) of Derrick (sp.?) Burgess, Laurence Maroney (Tomase did give him a pass) and Fred Taylor. Then Tomase tried to recall "the Asian player who went to Green Bay" during the early years of the Belichick regime and wrongly recalled him as Eugene Chung (who was drafted, I believe around '93 and gone forever not long after)...and it went downhill from there. What a collection of fools. It was unbelievable television.

that was the sound of 31 teams' worth of personnel, office guys, coaches and players saying "damn"

Or as many sports analysts would say "Probable with a shoulder."

They are saying a lot worse than damn...much of which can't be repeated here

boy, if Crable makes some strides forward and Brady's close to 100 percent...we could have a squad on our hands here gentlemen.

Add Greg Lewis and Joey Galloway
Pump up the secondary
(get rid of Ellis Hobbs FINALLY!!)
young CB's, young safeties...
returning DROY

Well, this is the year. Next year we'll start losing guys, so if we can get a good rush from the OLB position, we're looking at a championship team. Starting to get excited... less than four months now.
