Good news... at least there's the Celtics in the playoffs, the Bruins in the playoffs, the Red Soxs (and the Twins for me in MN), and the Revolution all going on right now. But yeah you are right in that September seems forever away.

I couldn't disagree more...NFL is a year-round commitment.

I was playing a game of NFL Head Coach 09 this afternoon and it makes me wish it was september already.

Not to go off-topic, but how is that? I played the original Head Coach and couldn't get into it.

I guess that depends on what part of regular madden you prefer: Playing the game(against computer, online, etc), or playing franchise mode and only occasionally playing games through your team in franchise mode. The latter means you can probably get into head coach. Also, the second version of head coach was better.
I hate to admit it, but I have more knowledge about football(why to choose a base D/O,formation,or play) from playing madden all these years(Im 25).

Back to the OP's subject, I cant wait for the season to start, I just hope Brady doesnt go through what Manning did during the beginnig of last year. Also, thinking long-term, I would like for O'Connell to get more mop-up reps than Cassel did. Its no good to keep a guy on a reconstructed knee out there when the game is essentially over.

Excellent updates. Really love the new wallpaper. However it seems like the new intro video is really sluggish in loading. Took forever on my cable connection for it to finally load. Thought I'd pass that along.

Edit: OH MY GOD that new video just... just........ kicked some serious ass!
