With Andre Smith on board, the Bengals have released former pro bowl LT Levi Jones:

Bengals cut veteran LT Jones after drafting his replacement

Jones had some injury issues but was a pro-bowl caliber player for several seasons with Cincinnati. Don't know whether he would be worth a look. Probably not, but good OT depth is hard to come by.

Levi should be able to land a starting job somewhere. He is still damn good when healthy. I wouldn't mind seeing him line up at RT for us if he could be had on the cheap.

Levi should be banned from signing with any other team in the NFL since he did not commit himself to becoming a criminal while with the Bengals ... I call for his immediate permanent suspension, this cannot be tolerated.

Was it Levi who got sucker punched in Vegas by Joey Porter and his posse?

Glad to see the Bengals are trying to improve the quality of their team character. :ugh:

Levi is better off.

You know how some teams scout Australians or Wrestlers to play football??

I think the Bengals should recruit big guys right out of prison.
You know they won't be lacking aggression, and they prob can bench 225 a lot.

So it's just a matter of finding a 6"6 300+ guy who is out of jail.

Bring some leadership to the Bengals locker room and prevent petty crimes such as DUI and puking out of car windows while being arrested (Chris Henry).

I was under the impression that this was already the Bengals' draft strategy, evidently I'm wrong?
