Now, I'm not asking which one becomes the best pro. I'm asking who impacts the team the most next year.

My vote is going to Chung, since not only is he going to be our best "in the box" safety. But, his addition also frees up Meriweather to not have to play inside the box, and I think we'll see a lot more big plays out of him this year.

I think Chung takes over for Sanders in the starting rotation around week 8.

I see Chung getting limited time on the field this year - BB will work him in very slowly and if you see Chung on the fiedl I would think it will be more for STs

I think with Hobbs being gone,Butler will be on the field more often and should show enough to make us happy with the draft selection,I dont think Butler will set the world on fire but he should be as capable as Hobbs was.

Chung will have a large impact on Special Teams.

I'd agree on Chung.

Maybe Butler, since the Hobbs trade leaves an opening at KR.

Chung, without a doubt. He'll take over for Sanders full time in mid season. He and Meriwether will be a dominant safety duo for years to come. I personally cannot wait to see this guy take Jerricho Cotchery's head off.

Butler and i will tell you why! UCONN mirrors the New England Patriots. The scheme and everything. Butler is ahead of the learning curve to learn the Patriots system. I think he will be better than Samuel will ever be. I see him taking the starting job midway through the season. Also with Chung i like him to, but since im a UCONN fan i gotta take the homer pick :D

What I like about Brace is that he allows Wright to move to end. Our goal-line defense should be pretty nasty!

Jake Ingram will play all 16 games in a crucial role.

I voted other. Julian Edelman, by giving us a wildcat QB to practice against, will help us prepare for it and not get burned by it again.

We didn't get burned by it last year, either, after the first Miami game.

I think Chung starts from day 1. Maybe it is high hopes but he is a solid, solid player. I was pleasantly surprised by the pick.

Oh don't get me wrong, I don't think we'll ever struggle against it as much as we did in the first Miami game last year; but with more and more teams incorporating it into their playbook, it's something we will have to prepare for, and Edelman will help us do that better than any player currently on the roster.

BB mentioned UConn yesterday in one of his post-draft pressers and I think we took 2 from there actually. I didn't know why BB had jumped positive on UConn but your info probably explains why. Cool, thanks, and based on that I'll predict Butler as well :)

Chung would seem to be to obvious choice..... However, I went with Butler.
Why? The trading of Hobbs. Butler won't take a starting corner this year but he should see a lot of nickel and dime.....

Still a tough choice though Chung and Butler should be neck and neck for playing time in 2009....

I think Chung does. IMO, I think he has the chance to start right out of the gates for this defense. I know Sanders and Meriweather have been solid, but this kid Chung is the real deal from what I've seen and read. The thing I can't seem to hear enough of is about his intelligence. He is known to be an extremely smart player who can pick up complex schemes, as well as read the other teams formations. I'm very excited about him.

I wouldn't be suprised if Edelman enters games for us in the Wildcat formation. Just being practice material alone would make him worth the late round pick. Coming into the game and being effective in our Wildcat formation would make him a steal, IMO.

It's tough call for me cuz Chung was my binky at 58 of the second rd, with maybe a move up to get him. So I was surprised, but not shocked to see him selected at 34....

don't forget about Tank Williams filling the role of SS in the box on running downs.... But we shall see come TC and the pre-season games....

Trust me, I won't ***** if he's ahead of the curve for rookies in general at DB!

Rich Ohrnberger. He has to get some playing time so he can

replace either Mankins or Neal in 2010.
