It does seem like picks and info is coming fast and furious from twitter.....and not being a big PC guy...I'm wondering how what to do to get the info easier....AT LEAST on the second day...as the first...was not THAT easy....having to refresh to get updates on twitter is a bit time consuming when multi tasking...with chat rooms and updating on Excel sheets and the like...IS there a way to have Twitter update refresh automatically?? OR a way to set that up?? Having not used twitter...and really do NOT like it so far...I like it even less without an automatic update..(Can you imagine a chatroom that has to be updated to get all comments??) Ideas as to what to do?? Given that twitter seems to be the way a LOT of things are being done...maybe this will help others...

There is twitterfox for firefox or you can use your twitterberry for blackberry or there is an app for iphone.

Twitterfox is pretty good imho.

Don't even want to think about using something called "twitter"! ('tho I appreciated your helpfulness!) When does communication become too fast? Watching NFL draft day, Esien and Co. often seemed to have the early picks before they were announced, just by observing phone and draft table activity!

Don't have any of the 3....guess I am stuck back in the dark ages....what about NOT having to refresh when on a reg PC??? Just curious...as what I need to do...OR ??

I'm not an expert so I'll let some of these young whippersnappers fill in the details. But to get an autofeed, open up the Pats twitter page.

Then, click the "GET RSS FEED" link (lower right hand corner). This will bring up a page that allows you to subscribe to automatic updates in either Google Reader or Internet Explorer.

Take your pick, then hit subscribe. This will open up a page with links to the new updates that updates automatically.

I use Google Reader. Whenever I open it, I have links too all the RSS feeds I've subscribed to (for example, you could subscribe to Google news updates for the Patriots). I'll keep the Twitter subscription page open today. No updating required.

If you have Firefox, you can use the ReloadEvery add-on to reload the page every X seconds.

Sorry this is a late response. Correct , twitter no longer auto-refreshes( just like this board doesn't ). There are many third party twitter apps that you can get that do refresh. The popular ones are Thwirl and TweetDeck. There is also a Greasemonkey if you use FireFox. Also if your watching an event like the draft it's probably best if you use search.twitter.com and follow a hashtag or key word like #NFLDraft or Nfl or draft etc that way you get information above and beyond whom you follow. Twitter search auto refreshes.

I just had every new post from the pats twitter site sent in a text to my phone....easier to keep up that way.

download tweetdeck and set realpatriots as its own group on your dashboard. Updates on the fly automatically.
