Current Draft Format... Hate it

I want to say that I HATE the current draft format where they do only the 1st two rounds on Day 1 now and the rest on day 2. And for a couple of reasons. The Biggest of which is that all the Chicken Littles and Know just enough to be silly fans come out and lament how the Pats didn't get their guy with picks from the 1st two rounds. And then they lament how the Pats had BETTER get this pick or that pick.

The third round still provides some very good quality players. And in a draft like this that there is a lot of good (not elite) talent like this, having 4 picks in the 3rd round, the Pats are in a position to add more very good talent.

i dont really have a good or bad feeling about the format.

how much do you hate the chicken littles? and how much do you scratch your head when the pats do NOT take Clay Matthews or James Laurinaitis?

i dont claim to know more than BB (!) but either of those guys were starters for the NEP on my board!! lol

I didn't scratch my head at all about the Pats skipping Matthews or Laurinitus. I didn't feel they fit the Pats needs.

The Chicken Littles? Lets just say that they provide only a .001 micron sliver of comedy. Other than that, they are tiresome and really ruin the board..

I thought that way too, but now it makes day two a little exciting instead of just an also ran. I wish our picks were higher, though. They're lower than those in the second round, I think. *quick look*

DO I?? The way some people act, its life or death.. Personally, while I used to be one of the ones that said WTF and acted dumbfounded by picks, I figured out I was wasting too much energy on it. So, now, I just go with it and enjoy..

It's a draft and no team is perfect. I don't like the start time, but there's nothing wrong with people disagreeing with the picks made by their team, or any other team, for that matter.

Do not care for the format either, they are trying to build toooo much drama into a relatively mundane affair.. it started too late and only did two rounds.. still think the time between picks in the first round are too long also..

The draft is fun, as a fan, it's great to enjoy the day.

There's nothing to "hate" about it. It's a great time.
