No linebackers drafted yet... we just took a big German dude. Looking increasingly likely that we'll get at least Taylor locked down soon?

Or maybe none, maybe Michael Johnson.

a couple of threes for Peppers????

If Taylor was hoping to see a role for himself on our team and wanted to be sure there wasnt a rook there than he might be happy now.

We haven't spent much on rookies so far, so we may be saving some money. But what we would give up to get Peppers is a mystery. Taylor seems more likely.

Sorry to give you bad news. Miami didn't draft any linebackkers

which means Taylor probably goes to Miami.

If no Taylor or Peppers where does the pass rush come from?

"a couple of threes for Peppers????"

He never signed that tag sheet with Carolina so they can't trade him.

Maybe they think Bruschi is gonna play till 40.I am very dissapointed. This LB corps is very weak with the exception of Mayo.

where'd it come from 2 yrs ago?

Vrabel!

Now with TBC and Crable it may have to come from one of those guys. With the Brace pick it can move Wright to DE in a 4-3 and may also help.

I dont see us signing Taylor as we would have done so already. Peppers would need to rework his contract which would take forever, if he's even up for taking a paycut anyway.

This draft is also weak at ILB. Only 2 taken so far. There will be good ILB value in the later rounds.

yeah, I hate to see people getting so excited or disappointed after 2 rounds of the draft.
normally, teams get to pick only 2 players in the first 2 rounds ---- you can't get a guy at every position, and the entire nfl isn't made up of first and second round picks.

my memory's horrible, but wasn't guyton undrafted last year?

there are still plenty of players left to be drafted.

Vrabel. ********

hahahaha....damn, some people on this board get awfully worked up on draft day.

it came entirely from vrabel?
damn, we should have kept him.
was crable on the team in '07?

They had a chance to get Clay Matthews or that Connor kid and they chose a DT?

two years ago the pass rush came from Vrabel and Colvin. Obviously neither will be helping this team this year.

yeah, so when they were outside, wasn't adalius inside?

will adalius be inside or outside this season?
where was crable playing in '07?

how many sacks did vrabel have last year ---- the year that everybody's complaining about?

**** -- now that I think about it, what kind of shape was seymour in 2 years ago?

Are they gonna send Bruschi to blitz?

Why? I think if today tells us anything, it's that the Pats probably have a deal worked out with Taylor already. JMO

End of day one and there are still threads with "Peppers" in the title?

Maybe they will end around the beginning of round 6.
