The Patriots just announced that they will be "Tweeting" their draft picks.

Here is the team's official announcement:

The New England Patriots will use Twitter to announce their 2009 draft picks in real time. Each of the Patriots’ picks during the NFL Draft this weekend will be announced at Twitter.com/realpatriots, the official Twitter feed of the New England Patriots.

I don't get Twitter... but when I read this I signed up and now I will get updates sent to my phone in case I am not around on Saturday night. (I am not sitting in front of the TV Sunday that's for sure)

yes you need to go to settings and

Just so you guys know: you don't have to sign up for Twitter to get Twitter updates.

Every Twitter feed also exists as an RSS feed, so you can just send that feed to whatever RSS reader you use, and then you don't have to bother with going to Twitter or downloading a Twitter client for your phone and/or computer.

But I agree, Twitter is pretty lame; this is one of the few feeds I'm even remotely interested in.
