I had a nightmare...

So, just before my alarm clock saved me at 6, I was having a horrendous dream. In the dream, I was coming back from a fishing trip and missed the first day of the draft. I pulled up the picks on my iPhone and couldn't believe what I had seen. The Pats bundled 23 and 47 to move up to 12. They drafted A.Q. Shipley at 12. They then drafted Cornelius Ingram at 34. The Jets picked English at 17. My thoughts then kept trying to remind me that the draft hadn't happened yet and it was all just a dream. Logic which my brain didn't buy. Thankfully, my alarm then woke me up.

Is it four tomorrow yet?

It shows how obsessed I am. I have had 3 dreams so far in the draft.

1. (NO JOKE) We trade 3 picks, and get B.J Raji. I am at Vinces Draft Party and he yells **** and runs out the door.

2. I missed the whole draft, (IDK why) and found out we traded all our picks except #23 for next year. We draft Moreno.

3. The Jets trade up with picks to 22 and took Barwin :O

Even stranger, I just had a dream last night where the Redskins traded up to 29(!?) to take Barwin.

Amen, although that might not be a particularly pleasant dream, depending on what happens to that sandwich (e.g., it could get eaten by Roseanne Barr. . . . ).

I didn't have any weird dreams about that game, but I distinctly remember thinking about an hour before the game, that I wish they didn't have to play that day. I just wasn't feeling it at all, I was incredibly nervous and apprehensive that Sunday. I don't know which was worse, that game--or being up large in the AFCCG the year before, but I wish I could just forget about both. I have never watched replays or highlights from either game.

As far as dreaming about the draft, my perfect dream would be to move up and snag Malcolm Jenkins. I think keeping our D off the field after 3rd down, vastly improving the secondary, coupled with keeping Brady protected--will be far more important to us this year than getting Julius Peppers or J.Taylor. I also see us getting a couple of good OL, one in rd 2, and one in 3-4.

I dreamt that we traded our 23 and 34 to Kansas City for LB Monty Beisel to help out Pioli and then traded 47 and 58 to Denver for Kyle Orton as a backup QB and Chad Jackson as our 3rd WR to help out new HC Micky D
