1. Detroit Lions- Matthew Stafford QB Georgia
Detroit can develop Stafford till mid season then throw him in at the starting position.

2. St. Louis Rams- Jason Smith OT Baylor
Rams have many needs, but their biggest need is OT after cutting Orlando Pace. Dont be surprised if they take Crabtree here as well.

3. Kansas City Chiefs- Aaron Curry LB Wake Forest
Chiefs could also take Eugene Monroe here, but Aaron Curry is the safest pick in this draft and the Chiefs need to redo their defense since they are converting to a 3-4.

4. Seattle TRADES #4 and next years 6th rounder to the Denver Broncos for (#12, and #18). Denver Broncos- Mark Sanchez
Seattles Smoke screen works and they have a biter. With the Jets willing to trade up to hear the Broncos have a more intriguing gift. I know what your thinking, but if the Broncos are stupid enough to trade Cutler they are stupid enough to move up to grab this guy. They also have the ammo to make this happen.

5. Cleveland Browns- B.J. Raji NT Boston College
There is no way Raji will go below the top five. Browns take a NT Beast and the best value on the board.

6. Cincinnati Bengals- Eugene Monroe OT Virginia
Bengals need to protect Palmer! Eugene Monroe will start right away!

7. Oakland Raiders- Michael Crabtree WR Texas Tech
Al Davis loves speed. Crabtree is the best WR in the draft. They could also go Jeremy Maclin if Crabtree is not here.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars- Jeremy Maclin WR Missouri
Jaguars need a WR even though they just signed Torry Holt. Jags are looking towards the future.

9. Packers TRADE (#9) to the Jets for (#17, #52, and next years 7th rd) for
Josh Freeman QB Kansas State
The Jets trade up before the Niners take Freeman. If this doesnt happen then i see the Jets trading for Brady Quinn.

10. San Francisco 49ers- Brian Orakpo OLB Texas
Since there are no QBs on the board the Niners select an OLB to add to their Pass Rush after losing Tully Banta Cain

11. Buffalo Bills- Andre Smith OT Alabama
After trading Jason Peters, the Bills get who they want. He replaces Jason Peters.

12. Seattle Seahawks (From Broncos)- Michael Oher OT Mississippi
Seattle trades down and grabs the next best OT on the board to protect Hasselbeck. I know the Seahawk fans are sick of seeing him on his back :singing:

13. Washington Redskins- Knowshon Moreno RB Georgia
Freeman is off the board, so they grab Moreno to add depth to their RB corps.

14. New Orleans Saints- Malcolm Jenkins CB Ohio State
The Saints grab the Best CB on the board. There are some rumors that the Patriots talked about moving up to grab Jenkins.

15. Houston TRADES (#15) to Packers for (#17, and the Jets 7th rounder next year) for Tyson Jackson DE LSU.
Packers grab the best 3-4 DE in the draft. They grab Tyson before the Chargers do. Pioli is in love with this guy so dont be surprised if the Chiefs dont trade down to get him.

16. San Diego Chargers- Chris Wells RB Ohio State
Since the DE they wanted is gone they take the best player on the board.

17. Houston Texans- Everette Brown DE Florida State
Texans need to bolster their line. So they add a Pass Rusher to help the secondary.

18. Seattle Seahawks- Darius Haywood-Bey WR Maryland
Deon Branch isnt getting any younger. They got their OT now they add another weapon for Matt.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Rey Maualuga ILB USC
With the Loss of Derrick Brooks the Bucs grab the best ILB in the draft.

20. Detroit Lions- Eben Britton OT Arizona
Detroit got their Franchise QB now they need to revamp their line to protect him.

21. Philadelphia Eagles- Kenny Britt WR Rutgers
Britt has been moving up the board. Eagles take him so McNabb has his weapon.

22. Minnesota Vikings- Clay Matthews OLB USC
Vikings surprises everyone and takes an OLB. It adds depth to the LB corps and maybe this guy can give Cutler trouble twice a season.

23. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS- DARIUS BUTLER CB UCONN
I think we need to get younger at CB. Darius runs a 4., has great hands, very agile, and has the mentality to be a Patriot. He could possibly take over for Hobbs when and if he leaves next season.

24. Atlanta Falcons- Peria Jerry DT Mississippi
Falcons need to get bigger at the D-line, they start by adding at 6-2 299lbs.

25. Miami Dolphins- Percy Harvin WR Florida
Miami needs a WR because Tedd Ginn Jr isnt panning out. Harvin drops because of his positive drug test.

26. Baltimore Ravens- Vontae Davis CB Illinois
Ravens need some serious help at CB so they grab the next best CB on the board.

27. Indianapolis Colts- Evander Hood DT Missouri
Colts take the best DT on the board to bolster their D-line.

28. Buffalo Bills- Brandon Pettigrew TE Oklahoma State
Buffalo takes the best TE in the draft to add to their new offensive arsenal. They could also go RB and grab Donald Brown.

29. New York Giants- Brian Robiskie WR Ohio State
Giants replace Burress with a Quick WR with great hands.

30. Tennessee Titans- James Laurinaitis ILB Ohio State
Titans need serious help at MLB. They take Laurinaits that will be a great addition.

31. Arizona Cardinals- Aaron Maybin OLB Penn State
Cardinals would of won the Superbowl if they had a better Pass Rush. They fix that with the first rounder.

32. Pittsburgh Steelers- William Beatty OT UCONN
Steelers need a new OLINE so they start by fixing the LT position.

Houston sold themself short with that trade. A seventh round pick for moving back two spots in the first? A third or fourth is more likely, even in this climate.

Other than that, little to argue with.

Tampa Bay won't take Maualuga; they're set at MLB with Barrett Ruud. Derrick Brooks was an OLB; they signed Angelo Crowell and are high on Quincy Black on the other side. They need a DT but Raji is out of reach while Jerry and Hood are not good fits for the new Jim Bates defensive scheme. Next choice would be a DE so they might trade up to grab Everette Brown or Tyson Jackson. If not, then the next choice would be a CB to replace Ronde Barber; in this mock that would be Darius Butler.

yeah a lousy trade

Robert Ayers slips to 2nd round? I've seen him go no later than the teens in most mocks out there.

A fine effort!

The two obvious issues have been pointed out: the pack needs to give up a 4th and Ayers should be in the first presumably to replace Harvin who will now drop.

I do find your comment on the patriots amusing. We have Hobbs, Wheatley, Wilhite, and Richardson as corners. Isn't that enough you?? As long as Belichick coaches the team, we will have some older veterans in the secondary. BTW, Hobbs is going nowhere unless a new CBA is signed. He will be a restricted free agent next year.

I'm fine with drafting a corner and moving Springs to the swing defensive back and backup free safety role. However, that is not my preference. Unless we can get Jenkins, I would rather draft a safety or two.

I like this mock, great job! As a huge fan of Butler's I am pleased that we get him.

It looks more and more like Pioli wants to trade down from #3 in the worst way. But who can Pioli dance with on a trade?

Added to the equation is that Pioli is reported to be after Tyson Jackson, a guy I think BB is looking to get his hands on in the worst way. So with us having ammunition to burn in a trade up and Manigini at #5, Capers at #9 and McDaniels at #12, Pioli has to be very careful who he dances with and he needs to know what players certain teams are targeting.

Even BB admitted that in this draft, it is hard to get a handle on which plyers teams are targeting.

So maybe you are right, Pioli stays at #3 and takes a 4-3 LB like Curry. Ouch, for KC fans everywhere.

I have a hard time with Parcells taking a WR in the first round or anybody giving up two 1's for Sanchez. Nice effort people will always argue over specifics.

Don Banks on FOX Sports Radio just confirmed what I've been saying for over a month now. Oakland will take Jeremy Maclin over Crabtree because of the very factor you mentioned...SPEED.
