The National Enquirer Sports Edition, A/K/A ProFootballTalk.com is now pointing to a source stating that Raji, Davis, Cushing and Matthews were NOT on the positive test list.

Per a league source, Raji’s name did not appear on the list of players who tested positive for marijuana at the Scouting Combine.

ProFootballTalk.com - Raji Didn’t Test Positive

Per a league source, none of the players who reportedly tested positive and then denied testing positive actually tested positive.

This means that Illinois cornerback Vontae Davis did not test positive for marijuana, and that USC linebackers Clay Matthews and Brian Cushing did not test positive for steroids.

What about Percy Harvin?

I really wish we could get some resolution on this issue. Some people may not care, but to me it's a big deal, and it bothers me when conflicting reports fly about the interweb. I'd feel much more comfortable about some of these guys if we had hard evidence that they weren't users or abusers.

Still, I'm not hugely interested in any of them for the Patriots; except for Raji, I don't see the rest fitting in well.

I only believe reports from Credible websites. If something comes out from an independent website or a website i have barley heard of I wait for confirmation from an ESPN or SI or another Credible site.

NFL dot com addresses this in their blog today.

blogs.nfl.com/2009/04/20/raji-davis-cushing-and-matthews-passed-drug-tests/

It's on the home page, if anyone wants to take a look. This makes me feel a little bit better.

NFLDRAFTBIBLE.COM still has their article i their archives. Interesting. The player agents demanded it be taken down and they refused.

It's STILL up:mad: Not even so much as a retraction or addendum, nothing. If it's not true the site needs to say that,or at least amend the comments to include the fact the agents are denying the allegations.

These guys' careers could be affected; at least the statements have dropped back into the archives but still... .

SI is one of the primary guilty parties.
