Although I can understand why you would hate on ESPN, but it isn't like Dennis and Callahan are remotely listenable anymore. They really should just give up sports and head down the dial to WRKO and talk politics full time. That is what they seem to like to talk about more anyway. I only tune in to that show anymore when Adam Schefter, Boomer Easiason, or Tom Brady is on.

Sorry to highjack the thread. It does suck for the Celts that Garnett is out for the first round, but they are good enough without him to still at least have a shot to win.

I think the Celtics can get by the baby Bulls at least. But they're probably going to get eaten up by Dwight Howard and the Magic without KG in there to crank up the defensive intensity. This is a pretty devastating development for the C's playoff hopes.

it doesnt matter what round they lose in. i personally think they will go down against the cavs in round three. all i know is there wont be any championship without KG and that sucks.

Switched to Sirius with the NFL/NBA/MLB channels.. Incredible.. nice to listen to hosts that actually know the game and don't rant and rave about day to day stuff..

actually I kind of can.....Doc needs his team not to be hoping for KG to be the savior as he likely wont be walking thru the door. BB acted similar with Brady last year closing the door on his return quickly to not let it distract.

I'm still waiting for Bill to acknowledge the severity of Tom's injury, I don't remember him ever doing it.

You're kidding me, right? Dennis and Callahan better than Mike and Mike?

The fact that ESPN as a network has turned into sports tabloid should not be used as a broad brush to paint the Mike & Mike show which is one of the best national sports talk shows around. Dennis and Callahan is just awful.

I think KG and Brady bring a lot of similar things to the table. Especially how they influence players around. The C's got better on the defensive end not just because KG was added but because he changed the mindset. He made them accountable on D.

Same with Brady, players seem to be more confident when he's on the field. No one wants to screw up. Wether it be missing a blocking assignment or running a sharp route. Brady makes everyone accountable
