I put some time into this so let me know!! Dont go easy, say what you think!!

Round 1
1. Detroit Lions- Matthew Stafford QB Georgia
Lions will either trade out of the first, but with little takers they take the best QB on the board. He would most likely start over Culpepper.

2. St. Louis Rams- Jason Smith, OT Baylor
With the departure of Orlando Pace, the Rams take the best OT in the draft. He should make an immediate impact on their offensive line.

3. Kansas City Chiefs- Aaron Curry LB Wake Forest
With their first pick they grab the best LB on the board that can be molded by Mike Vrabel. With the addition of Zach Thomas, Pioli is mimicing the Patriots with bringing in Veterans.

4. Seattle Seahawks- Eugene Monroe OT Virginia
With an aging offensive line, the Seahawks start building for the future.

5. Cleveland Browns- Everette Brown OLB Florida State
I know many people think that Orakpo would be taken first, but Brown is ranked higher to better transition into the 3-4 OLB than Orakpo.

6. Cincinnati Bengals- Andre Smith OT Alabama
If the Bengals want their QB to be at his best, they need a line that will protect him. They grab Andre Smith to upgrade their Oline.

7. Oakland Raiders- Michael Crabtree WR Texas Tech
Raiders need a solid WR to complement Russel. Hes not going to develop properly if he doesnt have a great WR to throw to.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars- Rey Maualuga LB USC
With the departure of Mike Peterson, the Jaguars need help at LB so they grab the best ILB on the board.

9. Green Bay Packers- B.J. Raji NT Boston College
The Packers are transitioning to the 3-4 and the best way to build your 3-4 defense is the NT.

10. San Francisco 49ers- Mark Sanchez QB USC
The niners are in need of a QB, they grab Sanchez to compete against Hill and O'Sullivan.

11. Buffalo Bills- Brian Orakpo DE/OLB Texas
Buffalo needs to fill in their defense because the AFC East is one of the strongest divisions in the NFL now.

12. Denver Broncos- Brian Cushing LB, USC
Denver needs depth at LB. They grab Cushing for his Pass rush skills. He may be a little slower than some LB's, but they wont forget the hit he will put on you!

13. Washington Redskins- Aaron Maybin DE/OLB Penn State
Redskins cut Jason Taylor, so instead of trading or looking in free agency they turn to the draft for a Pass Rusher.

14. New Orleans Saints- Chris Wells RB Ohio State
The Saints need a HB that can help carry the load with Reggie Bush. They grab Wells that can run in the holes!!

15. Houston Texans- Malcolm Jenkins CB/S Ohio State
Houstons concern is their secondary. They have many holes that need to be filled. They grab Jenkins which helps upgrade their secondary.

16. San Diego Chargers- Tyson Jackson DE LSU
The Chargers need depth and a Pass Rusher in their 3-4. Tyson fits the build in that defense.

17. New York Jest- Jeremy Maclin WR Missouri
Coles left for Bengals, so the Jest need to upgrade their WR core. Jeremy will help fill that hole.

18. Denver Broncos- Robert Ayers DE Tennessee
They got their LB now they need to work on the d-line. Ayers is a pass rusher and could transition to OLB if need be.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Josh Freeman QB Kansas State
The biggest need for the Buccaneers is QB, with Garcia signing with the Raiders, they want to bring in competition with McCown.

20. Detroit Lions- Michael Oher OT Ole Miss
They got their QB now they need to work their Oline to protect this guy. They grab the best OT left on the board.

21. Philadelphia Eagles- Darrius Haywood-Bey WR Maryland
McNabb complaining bring me some weapons. They grab one of the fastest WR's in the draft.

22. Minnesota Vikings- Brandon Pettigrew TE Oklahoma State
Shiancoe isnt getting it done at TE. They grab a TE that has great hands and has some blocking abilities.

23. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS- Connor Barwin DE/TE/OLB Cincinnati
Connor fits the mold of a Patriot and thats Versatility. He can play 3 positions and can take over Vrabels responsibilities. We get our Pass Rush and one hell of an athlete.

24. Atlanta Falcons- Peria Jerry DT Ole Miss
With their offense all set. They set their mind on defense and grab the nest DT on the board.

25. Miami Dolphins- Percy Harvin WR Florida
Ted Ginn Jr has some playmaking ability, but there are questions about him. The dolphins grab Percy Harvin. Looks like he is staying in Florida!

26. Baltimore Ravens- Vontae Davis CB Illinois
They need some secondary help. They sign Foxworth to a big deal and hes inconsistent. They need youth at this position.

27. Indianapolis Colts- Evander Hood DT Missouri
They need to upgrade their Defensive line. They grab Ziggy that can plug up the middle.

28. Philadelphia Eagles- Knowshon Moreno RB Georgia
They got a WR with their first pick and their second pick they grab Moreno to compliment Westbrook. Hes getting older so some youth will help at that position.

29. New York Giants- Alphonso Smith CB Wake Forest
Corey Webster isnt that great so they bring in some competition.

30. Tennessee Titans- Ron Brace DT Boston College
With the departure of Albert Haynesworth, they grab a DT to fill the big gap!!

31. Arizona Cardinals- Clay Matthews OLB USC
The one major thing the Cards were missing in the superbowl was a pass rush. They grab the best OLB on the board.

32. Pittsburgh Steelers- Alex Mack C California
Their center isnt that great and they need to protect Big Ben. So they are starting with the interior lineman. Alex Mack is one of the top ranked C in this draft.

I have a round 2 but will post it later!!

It's a very nice draft. You obviously put a lot of thought and work into it.

Cushing at 12 seems a tad high to me, but it's certainly possible.

Nice job. If Malcolm Jenkins slides that far down I think the Pats try and move up for him. Jenkins is one of the safest picks in this draft and he'd fit in nicely. Also, when you consider that both New Orleans and Washington have only 4 and 5 picks respectivelly in this year's draft I feel that they both can be good potential trading partners. New Orleans can slide down picking up a 2nd Rd pick in what is considered to be a deep draft and very solid through Rd 2 and still get a RB at 23 or a LB which they also need. They also need DB help and can use the extra two to fill that void. Washington I believe needs OT help and they can slide down pick up a 2nd Rd pick and take a player like Britton at 23. New Orleans maybe the wild card though in my scenatio because if Jenkins slides, as much as they would love Wells they might take Jenkins.

Jenkins is a nice player but I don't see us moving up for him. As you just mentioned, this is one of the deepest drafts in years. Would giving up 2 players for one in a deep draft really be the best value? If your want a good CB, draft Sean Smith or Darius Butler in the second. Use the 1st round pick on a position where the Pats actually need help, like at OLB for example.

That's assuming, of course, that BB sees it as a true position of need.

KDP—kudos. I would love to see your second round.

Your implication is that there isn't much value difference between Jenkins on one hand and Butler and Smith on the other. I strongly disagree.

I guess New Orleans couldn't get anyone to trade with them.

I am still hoping that it is us, if the right player is available. Tyson Jackson.
