"Bully" That's great. The media always seems to be finding new ways to dig at the Pats. Some will say it's jealousy, but I think envy is better. It's a four letter word too.

So is Jerk, and that starts with the same letter as Judge..... :) (and Jets)

Judge is actually a pretty good writer

I think he may just be one of millions of fans that desperately want the AFC to be as close to full parity as it was last season and if the Pats continue to get solid vets it may not be that way so he,like others want big named guys to go elsewhere than Foxboro.

So according to this guy if you win, you're now a "Bully".

That's an instant classic.

If he doesn't want the Pats to get Taylor, how's he going to react if they get Julius Peppers?

I'm sure Taylor would lust for the opportunity to play on a team with no QB and a rookie coach, not to mention mentoring a 1st round bust

Never heard of this dude... therefore I could give less than two cat-chitcicles about what he says, thinks, or writes concerning the Pats. :)

Yeah, he's a football regular over at CBSsports site, but who cares if he wants Jason Taylor on the Pats or not? Why does his opinion matter so much?

Because he has a job that gives him an national audience. Simple as that.

"If nothing else, you gain an effective mentor for Gholston, who was supposed to be the best pass rusher in last year's draft. At least the Jets thought so, which is why they chose him. But Gholston not only didn't produce a sack as a rookie, he barely had a pulse -- finishing with five tackles, or 126 behind team leader Eric Barton. That ranked 23rd on the team and was downright embarrassing for a guy who was supposed to be an impact player."

I don't care what "mentor" you choose for that kid, he's a pure bust. The only thing the Jest can hope for is an uncapped year so they can clear him off the books.

I'm sure Goodell will make sure that happens.

I understand what his job is, but there are plenty of sportswriters who give their opinions everyday, and it makes no difference to anyone. Just because he has a bigger audience dosen't make his opinion any more right or wrong than yours or mine.

Agreed, Supafly. That was my point. :)

Don't forget these guys are fans too. Bet he's a Jets fan.

Sorry Scottie, I'm a little slow today. I was pretty sure where you were going but not positive:) Shouldn't of had that 4th beer on my lunch break.

This is irrelevant, because Taylor isn't going to the Jets. He'll either be on the Pats, because he respects them, or he'll be on the Dolphins, because that's where his history and long term relationships are.

I'm jealous, Brother!

I thought lastyear we didn'twin the division. Hard to be a bully by coming out second best.

Most likely the case. Most journalists are New York based and are also Jets fans.

Yip, just another black mark against the journalists of the world. :D
