FALSE (sorry) - Pats' schedule leaked?

Re: Pats Schedule leaked ?

Yeah if you look at the site it says that only two actual game dates are known (the Bills opener and the Bucs game) in the actual news article. Plus the schedule shows the first 8 games at home and the last 8 away, so it's gotta just be a random list.

Re: Pats Schedule leaked ?

Bummer - I kind of liked the looks of it - good thing I put a question mark :D

Yea, I agree but ya know - The deal could be that it might have been the schedule and Fred and Chris just got their ass in a whole bunch of trouble.

Right, but the original list list was NOT that way - There is a possibility that it was correct as originaly posted.

I don't know, I'm just sayin'.

Re: Pats leak 2009 schedule

Looks we could be going 19-0 this year :D

Re: Pats leak 2009 schedule

that is a very tough schedule.

Re: Pats leak 2009 schedule

Reiss just posted that that is NOT the actual schedule.

Re: Pats leak 2009 schedule

all i gotta say is...

damn that looks like a mighty easy schedule next yr

i dont remember oen tihs soft for a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time

Week One (Monday, September 14): Bills.

Pats own Bills and opening game at home. TO wouldn't have had time to implode the Bills yet so they have a chance.

Week Two (September 20-21): at Dolphins.

Heat will be a factor. Don't like this one.

Week Three (September 27-28): Jets.

Absolute destruction of recycled Ravens.

Week Four (October 4-5): at Broncos.

Rebuilt defense and rudderless offense. This is the year to play at Denver.

Week Five (October 11-12): Ravens.

Stripped down D and Ray-Ray not in a contract year.

Week Six (October 18-19): Falcons.

Glad this one is at home.

Week Seven (Sunday, October 25): at Buccaneers (in London).

Think it may rain? Fred Taylor pays off big in this one.

Week Nine (November 8-9): at Jets.

After a bye week, Pats end the Jets season before Thanksgiving.

Week Ten (November 15-16): Dolphins.

Not cool in NE yet. Again, don't like the schedule against the Fins.

Week Eleven (November 22-23): at Texans.

Should be their year to make a step up. Pats DBs better be ready to cover Andre Johnson.

Week Twelve (November 29-30): at Colts.

In what has become a competitive division, Colts should have half the team on the injury list by this point.

Week Thirteen (December 6-7): Panthers.

John Fox may not survive this long. Expect a drop-off for Carolina (which is why I want the Pats to get their 1st round pick in 2010).

Week Fourteen (December 13-14): Jaguars.

Have no idea what Jags will look like. They smell like a team that will come out of nowhere to have a surprisingly good season. Glad this is at home.

Week Fifteen (December 20-21): at Saints.

Assuming Saints are in the hunt for division/playoffs, this will be tough. Hopefully the Pats won't be needing this win.

Week Sixteen (December 27-28): Titans.

Titans should be competitive but not enough to win at Pats.

Week Seventeen (January 3): at Bills.

Having a full season to put Edwards into the fetal position and turn Lee Evans into a diva, the Pats won't need the starters for this one.

I wouldn't call this soft, but it seems certainly managable to get a #1 or #2 seed in the AFC. Will admit the schedule could turn out to be serious cake if the teams in transition (Jets, Broncos, Ravens, Bucs, Colts) have normal growing pains.

Re: Pats Schedule leaked ?

Florio now says this is not the schedule, just some overzealous .com employee filling out a grid.

And the media wonders why we berate them as we do sometimes:rolleyes: Believe Nothing you read unless it's absolutely official.

Re: FALSE (sorry) - Pats Schedule leaked ?

The full schedule will be out soon but we have a few days to go. Last year the NFL schedule was announced on April 15th, and in 2007 it was announced April 11th.

Remember, the powers that be at Patriots.com are the same geniuses who hired Tom Casale to a for-pay job.

No more need be said.

I like those guys alot, but that was probably the biggest mistake they ever made

Re: FALSE (sorry) - Pats Schedule leaked ?

False report of the schedule aside, I'm still ticked about the Pats/Bucs game being in London. I believe it would've been a Bucs home game, which I would've been able to attend. Just taking an opportunity to complain about that every chance I get.

:D

'Zactly. I see Reiss is on it tho, he's seriously the only one I trust with those pesky things called Facts:D

i think that for the official 2009 schedule we have to wait approx 2 weeks

Re: FALSE (sorry) - Pats Schedule leaked ?

Props for changing the title, yeah figured it was too good to be true.

Re: FALSE (sorry) - Pats Schedule leaked?

I was gonna say, 3 straight divisional games to start the season usually doesn't happen.

Re: Pats leak 2009 schedule

Agreed.:agree:

I dreaded finding out that we would be playing overseas in the upcoming season.

I don't get why people have a problem with this. It takes what would have been a game in somebody else's stadium and puts us at a neutral site, if anything it works to our advantage. Now if we were the designated home team for it, THAT would suck (and I can't understand why any team would actually volunteer to do that).

Agreed. It's about the same trip time-wise as the West Coast. Also, the Pats are the favorite team of those in the United Kingdom by a wide margin so the crowd will be ours and a bye week follows. Get over it...
