One of my under the radar guys is Sherrod Martin-cb-Troy. 6'1-197lb's. Martin runs a 4.40 40 yds. This kid has the linear build, has experience at fs, and nickel back. His athleticism, instincts, and versatility would help overall depth in secondary. I really believe that he will be starting in this league within 2 seasons. Coaches rave about hips-fluidity of hips to turn and run. He has that gift. I see him in round 2 -#89.

#89 is in round 3, and if Martin lasted till then he would definitely be worth a look. He had one of the fastest 3-cones of the combine (6.60), just after Malcolm Jenkins and one of the fastest short shuttles (3.98), so he has terrific agility for a big man.

That's where I've got him rated. He might be better than Sean Smith. whom most see as a late-first/early-second.

Martin ran a 4.48 at the combine and a 4.46 at his pro day.

His 10 yard split was 1.52 and 1.51 respectively.

He's got shoulder issues and the knock against him is that he's an inconsistent tackler and takes bad angles..

If he checks out medically, then he'd possible be worth it..

With Hobbs, Springs, Bodden, Wheatly & Wilhite are we really looking for a CB?

I agree. I thnik I would rather have Martin at #97 than Smith at # 58.
