First up Brady health- usual from BB working hard being where he should be in March, talked process Ended up Brady will work hard on his goal to be ready for the beginning of the season.

Question about Springs/Bodden, Talked about the flexibility of both players play inside outside and Springs able to play Safety as well as cb.

Followup question about Wheatly BB says he was coming along well, was earning PT at nickle before he was injured, felt he would "compete" for playing time with the regular unit. siad he was working hard in offseason program.

Talked about OLB with the departure of Vrabel, didn't ask about Peppers or Taylor since they knew BB wouldn't respond...:D asked who would start to Pass rush opposite AD. Asked if season started today would it be Woods or Crable. BB said spot would be earned through process, mini camp, TC, preseason games and so on. While mentioning hard work of Crable and Woods, he did bring up Redd, who Kirwin didn't ask about. Found that interesting that he brought up Redd as part of the OLB mix..

Question about Ko'C talked about the opportunity to get a lot of snap as backup QB last year, sounded positive about his progress.
Before I go read the transcript - Thank You! :rocker:

Yup, Vince Redd was taking snaps behind Vrabel people, don't ignore him. :)

even their transcripts are better than 'eei.

I called the show last week about the draft and asked Kirwin if he thought Redd could be part of the rotation at OLB, he didn't seem to think so. OTOH I heard commenting favorably on Redd on his show.

Kirwin also likes C Barwin for us as well as the CB Smith from Ut thinking he could be a safety... I like both ideas for our team.

here is another interesting tidbit
Ryan: Coach, just a couple more minutes, and we really appreciate your time. We had Steve Biscotti on the program yesterday, the owner of the Baltimore Ravens. He told us and all of our listeners – and said that he had never said it to anybody before, certainly not on air – that the hiring of John Harbaugh, and he obviously said he really sensed that leadership and those skills that John had brought in during the interview process he said, but one thing that maybe helped put it over the top was the endorsement that he got from Bill Belichick on John Harbaugh. Will you talk about that a little bit?

they did say their would be a package allowing the red zone coverage for cable subscribers.

a what package? red zone coverage? is that anything like the 5 min highlight crap that you can see in the on demand section on comcast? OR, will it be the whole game? I never understood why they can't do a pay per view thing with cable. Oh well, im switching to dtv in august anyway. f comcast :D

Wow, BB and KirwAn - that could be interesting....

I find spelling correctors are obnoxious ......:disagreement:

There is a feature on NFL.com where thy will provide audio whenever a team in another game enters the red zone, apparently Direct TV has the same feature. They will have a feature for the cable TV comapnies where there will be live video and audio when a tewam enters the red zone....

I am sure this will be used to leverage the NFL Network on cable systems.

So if you're a fan of the Lions, you'd never see any of the game. :D
