BB on with Kirwin/Ryan

Report....

Wow, BB and KirwAn - that could be interesting....

Kirwan was one of the originators of the Peppers business, putting him as a trade for the #23 in his second mock draft of the year.

First up Brady health- usual from BB working hard being where he should be in March, talked process Ended up Brady will work hard on his goal to be ready for the beginning of the season.

Question about Springs/Bodden, Talked about the flexibility of both players play inside outside and Springs able to play Safety as well as cb.

Followup question about Wheatly BB says he was coming along well, was earning PT at nickle before he was injured, felt he would "compete" for playing time with the regular unit. siad he was working hard in offseason program.

Talked about OLB with the departure of Vrabel, didn't ask about Peppers or Taylor since they knew BB wouldn't respond...:D asked who would start to Pass rush opposite AD. Asked if season started today would it be Woods or Crable. BB said spot would be earned through process, mini camp, TC, preseason games and so on. While mentioning hard work of Crable and Woods, he did bring up Redd, who Kirwin didn't ask about. Found that interesting that he brought up Redd as part of the OLB mix..

Question about Ko'C talked about the opportunity to get a lot of snap as backup QB last year, sounded positive about his progress.

I'm not familiar with this -- is it a radio show? Link please?

They have a show on Sirius radio called moving the Chains on NFL radio, excellent stuff. My drive time listening these days. Much better foorball talk than you would hear on EEI or the FAN.

In my opinion it's the best show on that station, although Randy Cross gives the Pats tons of love in his morning show.

They also touched upon all the picks the Pats had and what will they do with them. BB stated how having 6 of the first 100 picks will give him a chance to improve the depth and the quality of the team. He also mentioned it wouldn't surprise him if they traded some of those picks to either move up in the draft or for future picks in 2010.

Jim Miller was great to listen to, as well. Amid all the Belichick bashing, he would always stick up for his former coach and the organization. That is something I didn't hear him do a lot when it came to the Bears. In fact, he seemed to be very sympathetic for Orton and Grossman.

I knew there was something I like about Miller before he became a Patriot.

I agree Pat is awesome on Moving the Chains, love that show...EEI is pathetic compared to such awesome football radio.

Can you get this station now if you are an original XM customer? Or do you have to pay extra?

I don't actually know, but I was under the impression that since the merger it was all joint content, so I'd think you'd be able to get it.

nfl network is head and shoulders by far the best football talk I've heard.
I wouldn't even compare it to free am talk as the same genre.
it'd be like comparing nfl football to 2 kids tossing a pig's head back and forth in the yard.

IIRC thay have a pkg best of Sirius that will allow XM cust to get the NFL station, an extra fee but you aren't buying the whole pkg.

BTW they just had B Kraft on, mostly fluff, Kraft talked about alt media. I noticed that today they renewed their exclusive deal with Direct TV, they did say their would be a package allowing the red zone coverage for cable subscribers. They also said they would have the NFL Sunday ticket availiable by 2012 streaming over the Internet, if you can't get DTV, I can't wait!

God send for those of us who no longer live in NE.

Clearly he's been reading Out-Takes. ;)

I prefer the NFl radio to the NFL Network on TV. Less sizzle more steak.

Kraft was on the Howard Stern Show awhile back, was pretty interesting.
