Now that Brady is healthy again, do you see Moss as a 15 td+ guy now that he will have Brady for a whole season. Not saying he will have 23 again like in his first year. Do you see him as being close to that productivity?

Brady is back so yes i do!!

Re: Enough with Peppers threads, do you see Moss having a year similar to his first y

I think the knock would be whether brady is back 100% early in the year, and/or can he stay on the field, but assuming he's good to go I see no reason this offense can't replicate the '07 team.

of course, you might seem them run more, which would suck away opps, and the schedule is different, of course.

Who's Moss? :confused2:

Re: Enough with Peppers threads, do you see Moss having a year similar to his first y

I think the key is whether or not he'll be able to practice against Julius Peppers to really prepare him for games.

Re: Enough with Peppers threads, do you see Moss having a year similar to his first y

I can see him catching a good 70+ balls with 16 of them being td's. If brady is 100% and Moss is a 100%. I dont see why he cant get close to 20.

Peppers will NOT be in a Pats uniform this upcoming season. But i think Mayo will be good enough to practice aganst. :D

I think he may.

1. Imo his Wr crew is better than in 2007. I don't care what anyone says about Galloways age,he is more of a threat than Stallworth could ever hope to be. He can take it to the endzone every time he touches the ball and Moss and Galloway will compliment each other well. Throw the best slot receiver in the game in Wes Welker and a solid contribution from Lewis and everything looks dreamy.

2.Running game looks better than it did in 07. Adding Taylor in the mix gives you a threat to score every time he touches the ball. Yes he has slowed down but his down field speed is still there, you can see in any of his long runs he can still outrun most other guys. Lawronce Maroney? I'll hold my breath,if he contributes, fine if not it's nothing new. Morris=solid and strong, just needs to stay healthy. Need to draft a FB for the few packages we do run a FB in. Faulk ages like fine wine. He'll be ok again.

3 O-line. Concerns me a little, I'd like to see some help out of the draft in this department. They are solid imo, but we will need depth for sure.

Like you said, I don't see 23 from anyone for a very long time but 15 is easily attainable. Funny, I'm thinking 10 for Galloway too with Brady throwing about 35 to 42 behind a strong running game that will keep the defenses honest.

Then again, if the Belichick can get this defense playing championship football again the Pats may get more offensive touches and opportunities to score.

I actually am thinking Galloway will have 8 or 9 myself. Hes going to be productive unless the injury bug bites.

No, Randy gets less physical each year. He'll have his moments, but I don't see him lighting it up like in '07.

it's been one season since '07.

do you feel this sample size is enough to base a trend on?

I know hes getting old but you dont think if he put 100% in every game he could do it? Not 23 td's but like i said...15 -18.

Re: Enough with Peppers threads, do you see Moss having a year similar to his first y

IF brady is brady, they don't run a ton, and galloway doesn't grab his balls, I can easily see him putting up 20 td's.
'07 was no fluke, and a couple of those games were pretty adverse conditions -- he really could have had more that year.
oh yeah, and I think he got robbed on one in the pitt game.

what's the schedule look like?

Re: Enough with Peppers threads, do you see Moss having a year similar to his first y

I can seem him putting up 20 plus again. He has had some time to rest up and with Brady's arm and accuracy it is definitely attainable.

"and galloway doesn't grab his balls"..........amen to that!

I get the whole point of this thread but honestly what was wrong with what he gave us last year??
1000+ yards
70+ catches
12 TD (tied for League Lead)
all this with a QB that dispite his great progression couldnt throw the deep ball to save his life. But yeah I think he will light it up again

What will be interesting is to see how the duo hit it off after Moss was pretty much wrapped up by playoff defenses the last time we saw this tandem together. I know, I know, not every team has a playoff caliber defense. Let's just say that I am very excited to see what they can do, but I am going to be a cautious with my expectations.

With the additonal deep threat in Galloway, Moss will see less double coverage.

He has 2 very good years left in him. I easily see him as a sure fire pro bowler.
