Looking at the schedule I was trying to see how many non day Sunday games we may have. These Sunday/MNF and I guess Thursday games throw things off but I guess the good teams have to live with it. My guess would be 4 National games.

I know we have the game with Tampa in London and Indy is always a Prime time game. The Denver game with all that has happened with McDaniels will be hyped and on as well I'm sure. They have to give us 1 at home game on prime time so maybe the the Titans unlesss we get Peppers than its Carolina.

Too bad the game with Carolina is not here or I'd go in a minute.

Home: Buffalo, Miami, NY Jets, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Baltimore, Atlanta, Carolina

Away: Buffalo, Miami, NY Jets, Houston, Indianapolis, Denver, New Orleans, Tampa Bay

Never. They are playing it one at a time this year. Shuffle the schedule as you go along.
I think next week.

Schedule usually is announced mid-April.
Last year it was on April 16th.

You may find this list helpful (or useless) for the off-season.

This isn't a hard set rule. The Pats don't have to have a home prime time game at all. I do think they get one though... maybe Baltimore, or the Jets...

Well, it was supposed to be announced earlier than that, but the NFL pushed it back at the last minute because they weren't finish with it or something.

I know its NOT a rule but they do try to give a team a home prime time game and not all road games. There are some teams that do seem to get special treatment but I won't get into that.

I would assume a game with Buffalo, likely on the road, early in the year, is a night game.

I read Buffalo vs Indy in Canada would be on TV.

YES!!!

@ Houston .... and I just moved there!

@ New Orleans .... an easy drive!

Finally, I'll get to see the Pats in person! Since 88 I've seen them live once ... @ Denver in 2001 .... WOOOOOOOOOOT!!

Wow, of all the 2001 games you could have seen, it had to be Brady's worst......

Would all 276 Canadians watch it?

I know that I won't be watching it because: 1. I only watch Patriots games and 2. I hate the Colts. I can't speak for the other 275 of us.

Thanks for the calendar......

i am always looking forward to that date too; let's wait still approx 1 month

Mid September seems awful late to start the football season, no? I guess it all works out in the end (SB on 7 Feb), but still...

Mid-April, not that there's anything wrong with that. ;) :D

It sure does but the NFL wants to start after Labor Day weekend, and Labor Day is as late as possible (September 7th) this year.

Thanks. That's helpful and I'd forgotten it had been posted.

As for the schedule, I know that a lot of folks disagree, but I'd be very happy with 16, 1PM Sunday afternoon starts. The only game I care about the whole country watching is when we win the SB.
