With all the recent hubbub about Peppers this and Peppers that, I figured our message board could use a good read up on peppers.
I honestly don't know what all the rage is about "being able to afford peppers". I got some yesterday for $1.99 a pound. Even if the peppers being talked about are a very expensive $4.00/lb, they'd be at most $1,200 (300 lbs, right?) . Belichick got fined $500,000 in 2007, so.... I think the Pats can afford peppers.
I do have to throw in that my favorite pepper is the pepperoncini (Pepperoncini - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). Put these things in an Italian sub, and they are FREAKING DELICIOUS. Out here in Western MA, they don't know what "An Italian Sub With Hots" is. They just go "ok -- cold cut sub. I don't know what you mean by hots, so ... you're not getting those".
Dirty jerks. Everyone should know to put pepperoncini on sandwiches.
