The St. Louis Rams have announced they have released WR Torry Holt.

Get him on a flight, Bill.

I think Holt is going to want to go where he has the chance to be the #1 or #2 WR. I don't think that is New England.

He'd make for a great fit, but unfortunately someone with cap space is going to pay a premium for the name on the back of that jersey.

True, but I think there might be enough good teams out there looking for a WR, that will pay more than the Pats are willing to.

I doubt it. He has his ring from the year before. Which actually might work against the Patriots; Holt isn't a salty vet looking for a ring and willing to take a discount to get one since he already has one. But you never know.
