BSPN reporting that Cutler has lost faith in Denver brass, and wants out of Denver. Situation gone from bad to worse. etc.

Usual unsubstantiated reporting of a blogger in Denver, on national BSPN news!

If true tho, JMcD is in some trouble. And it makes the whole Cassel trade alternatives look more interesting....

FWIW

If this is true, what an absolute sook. Does Cutler think that because he is a serviceable quarterback he is off limits?

This smacks of a lack of maturity and any team taking him on should see the red flags for a pathetic case of sour grapes and immaturity.

Absolutely disgraceful.

What a whiny little puke. His next winning season will be his first, and he thinks no one is allowed to mention his name in trade talks?

Players get traded all the time, even players who were superbowl MVPs like Favre and who were almost (and should have been) superbowl MVPS like Vrabel.

Someone should call his mother and have her come and spank her little brat.

Besdies, what kind of friggin' logic says, "They were wrong to talk about trading me, I hate that they talked about trading me, I'm upset that my name was associated with a trade, and I demand that they trade me."

This is either:
A.) Immaturity on Cutler's part; or
B.) BSPN once again turning speculation in to fact and sensationalizing a story in order to create controversy for the purpose of driving ratings.

If I have to pick one, I'll say it's option B

Send him to Detriot for the #1 pick overall and send a 3rd rounder to the Chiefs for Thigpen and call it a day.

Why would Pioli trade a good Qb to a division rival? Detroit should offer a #2 for Thigpen.

While I agree that Cutler needs to suck it up, McDaniels couldn't have handled this thing any worse. He has already dug himself a deep hole there in Denver. It will take about two losses before start kicking dirt over said hole.

Agreed but Detriot seems hungry for Cutler from what media reports seem to indicate. Detriot and Cutler are always mentioned in the same sentence.

Josh is off to a horrid start. Nothing worse then getting into it with your franchise QB and creating a hostile environment between players and the head coach. The next question is who catches the heat when the losses start adding up? Cutler better have a hell of a season or McDaniels intentions surely will justify itself.

I REALLY hope this is a bad coincidence that we have Phillip Rivers and Jay Cutler being mentioned as the two flag bearers for the future of this league. Two young, immature, spoiled rotten, crybabies representing the future of this league? I'm hoping that I'm just getting older and maybe the word whippersnapper should be coming to mind. I'm under 40 so I'm still relatively young? Please tell me that there is not going to be more players of these guys mature caliber coming into the most coveted position in sports. The one where most have been gracious, bold and proud. Team first leaders, accept the blame even if it wasn't entirely their fault.

I truly do not like these two. They are right there in the TO zone for me. Again I'm hoping these two are just an abberation and not part of the next generation of kids growing up.

if he's willing to take $750k do you think we could get him for that kc second?

Denver should trade Cutler and then we could trade O'Connell to them for their 2nd round pick ...

Agree with this post. Cutler has done nothing to think that Josh wouldn't try to trade his candy arse for the right deal. Cutler is a ****sy.

Ben Watson and our 7th next year for Cutler straight up. Watson an Graham reunite.

maybe it's already been posted, but the story supposedly goes that he had already asked to be traded when they turned over the coaching staff.
of course, I don't know if that's rumor or fact.
or factual rumor....

It's always fun when someone makes Phillip Rivers look mature.

Chris Simms signed with Denver, Josh has his Quarterback. As far as blaming this all on Josh, Denver got a rookie GM the same time Josh came onboard, the Front Office, which includes Public Affairs, falls under the GM's purview. Cutler can squeal all he wants, Josh is about to show Denver who calls the shots. Cutler can only hope he doesn't wind up in NY, reportedly they have some aggressive media...

He was demanding his Quarterback Coach be kept on as OC...that gentleman is OC for USC, Baby Jay has had diaper rash ever since.

yeah, and right after that he apparently hears he might actually be traded, is outraged by this and demands to be traded.

I'm not a McD fan and am glad he isn't here, but what do you mean he couldn't have handled it worse?

Players names surface in trade talks all the time. Players are traded all the time.

Only thing McD did "wrong" was not be proactive in going after Cassel. He should have been on the phone the instant Cassel was franchised. But he isn't the only HC and/or GM to be sitting on his thumbs while Pioli wheeled and dealed.

As long a McD and the Denver brass stand up and tell Cutler that anyone on the team can be traded, they will be fine. It is only if they back down and apologize that there will be a big mess in Denver.

Cutler is evidently debating whether to show at at work outs now. I guess that'll teach the Broncos FO. If that doesn't work, he will probably hold his breath until he turns blue and eat worms. Then he can stomp his feet real loud and slam the clubhouse door.

I think Josh should trade him to Cleveland where Cutler and Mangina could share the Midol injections.
