Thanks! I actually liked the movie, but that may be for a few reasons:

1) I've never read the comics.

2) My expectations hit the floor after the newer previews and so I ended up going to see it last minute.

3) It was nice to see a movie outside the formula lines.

Rorschach could have had his own movie though. My other idea for a sig line was "we're not trying to beat you, you're trying to beat us" in reference to that prison line, which was frikkin' aces.

When they made one of these last February at the expense of the Patriots, I thought it was kind of clever.

Now that the Bills and Terrell Owens are the targets, it's much funnier.

- "I'm so desperate for a winning season I'm considering becoming a Dolphins fan!"

It's pulling in a "fresh" rating (at 65%) on Rotten Tomatoes. I might be going to see it this weekend. Since you liked it and hadn't read the comics, where would you rate on on a 1-10 scale?

I think that's the key...my cousin of the same age went with me and LOVED it. He had never even heard of the comics, whereas I was a devout fan. Just too much story to try to cram into 2 hours. Same thing with Twilight... fans of the book series seemed to dislike the movie more than those who hadn't read it first before seeing the movie.

Now I'm banning myself for going wildly off-topic, sorry... back to T.O., Buffalo, and Hitler.

8.5 (but I also think Nick Kaczur is a good right guard, so what do I know).

The reasoning being there's a lot that's unexpected. I would say this: you have to be observant and have a decent grasp on American political history. NOT a kids movie.

Also, if you're sensitive about the size of your johnson, don't take the wife.

I thought it was fascinating and accepted the cheesisms as a part of what makes even great comic-book movies tick.

Suggestion: avoid reviews like the plague.
