He better show me something this year. It's so hard to watch a guy with so much talent, show up once in a while.

What's up with this guy?

no way. the guy is still so young. he was a key part of this team being successful in the playoffs in 2008 before the ugly ending in the super bowl. for example, he was a monster in the game with the chargers, he controlled the clock and helped us manage the game.

people have short memories and it's a shame. i think maroney definitely has the talent to be a great rb and i think this could be the year he breaks out.

I Just hope were not saying the same thing next year, and the year after.

Hes been disappointing, we'll see if he can stay healthy and be consistent this season.

trade him now! cause after this year, we ain't gonna get nuttin :) Too much dancing, too many injuries, he doesn't power through the line like Morris or Jordan even did. I say we trade him for a decent CB

Marion Barber is going the path of glass crockery, so I will reserve my opinion. I'm high on LoMo so I hope he steps it up this season.

yeah i know what you're saying but i mean look at the 3 seasons he's been here. his first season he split the rock with dillion so he wasn't a feature back. his 2nd year he was barely used until the weather started affecting the games. the Pats were so pass happy the first part of the year but maroney came up big late in the season and in the playoffs. this year he was hurt early on and missed basically the whole year.

so i mean people are going to call him a bust, but i don't think he's been given enough of a chance. i could be wrong, but i think this is the year that he really steps up especially with the competition there will be in camp with taylor and morris.

I think it has to do with style of running. He is always trying to break it to the outside like that's gonna get him further down the field. But truth is, I don't think he's ever had a HUGE run before. Most of his success is in the screen because the field is more open, which even though that fits us, I think any JAG RB can do well in our screen plays.

Or what?
..........
and I will Officially declare him a BUST, and wish him well for who ever he is playing for next year. Cuz he's not a bad guy, I'am routing for him, but time is a tickin.

The guy had a good rookie season, a good end of 2007 (once they remembered to run), and an injury-plagued 2008. I wouldn't worry too much about him.

I think if we get good blocking production from the TE position this year LoMo will run wild.

Paging Daniel Graham.

Chris Baker..nuff said

BTW...I've always been an anti-"Cobra" fan...BUT...Jason Taylor can make me a hypocrite anytime he wants

Yeah, I'd say he's a bust. Too many injuries and dancing. Maybe a decent back but he's going to have a "nothing special" career. It's too bad because so many people were high on him at the draft, i believe it was Shanahan who said he had the tools to be on of the best backs he'd ever seen. The Colts were also high on him and at the time, they thought they had to "settled" on Addai. I was more happy with BJGE's running style compared to Maroney's.

no chance Maroney couldn't be a late bloomer?

if there's one thing that sticks out to me with his running style is his immaturtiy...when he gets past the line he's electriifying in the open field but he always seems to balk at hitting the hole where the play is designed to go. I think it's his mentality...he always tries to hit a home run...to star on ESPN...yeah he's been frustrating, yet what everyone seems to always forget is how he runs in the open field...the kid has skills

He's been disappointing, sure, but he's young, talented, doesn't cost much, and has flashed some real potential when he's on the field. Not exactly what you want from a first round pick, but not exactly bust-worthy.

I don't think he's a bust. He has a YPC average of 4.3 for his time in the NFL, not bad for someone who has been playing with injuries. I want to see him play a full season without injury first.

I have to admit to liking Maroney; I think he is fast, elusive and has something special in the open field. I think he's tougher than people give him credit for and hope that he'll show that with a full, injury-free season.

Some RB's take 2 to 3 years to hit NFL form, Is he a bust??. not really.. do injuries make you a bust?? Some things you cannot control.. pretty confident, if he has recovered from injuries, he will have a good year.
