Pretty simple question. Let's hear your opinions.

At THIS point, I think he'll be battling Wilhite for the starting spot at LCB.

Not at his age and with the likelyhood of us drafting a day one CB in April.

If he can stay healthy, he should easily be at least the #2 CB. He may push Hobbs for #1. Lets hope so anyway....

Hobbs isn't a #1 cb for me even at his age I'd rather see springs matched up on the other teams #1 wr then Hobbs. I really like Hobbs as a #2 though.

I hope not.

He's still better than Hobbs as long as he is healthy.

to think he will not definitely start if healthy is crazy. hes better than hobbs. unless he declined a ton, hes by far our best CB. a rookie CB will not be our #1 or #2. look at the history of CBs. they take a year to be good

As the #1 RCB, Hobbs very rarely lines up against the other team's #1 WR. You won't see Hobbs moving over to LCB, he's got his spot locked down for now.

Hobbs is still #1

Well I have seen Hobbs move to LCB at times, and he's actually pretty frequently matched up against other team's #1. Then again we do play a lot of zone.

Where's the Nickel/Dime option?

Mrs. Hobbs? Is that you?

No, and I still think Wheatley (maybe Wilhite) will be day 1 starter opposite Hobbs. Springs will be a fine nickelback...

I think Hobbs is our #1 for no other reason than he's the most experienced in our system, so Bill will play him as such. Springs may be #1 by year's end, or maybe not, or maybe a kid will step up, but he definitely won't start the year as our #1 CB.

Springs is probably our most talented CB, but he and Hobbs are different players. I think that Springs will be conserved, and used primarily when he's really needed- against the big, physical WRs that Hobbs can't handle very well. That's Springs' specialty.

I agree with you, but if Springs does start day 1, I reckon by mid-season on oh Wheatley or Wilhite will be starting.

Pushing Hobbs down to nickeblack? That would be nice.

Hobbs is still #1

As much as some on this board don't like it - Hobbs is the #1 and will be for the forseeable future. BB seems to trust/like him.

I think we can all agree he's one of the better STers we've had in some time and I don't see anyone passing him on the depth chart at CB until/if the young guns develop into solid starters.
