Springs visit

I think Wilhite and Wheatly will be better.. Remember we had Assante as a 4th round pick, these are high picks.. Leigh Bowden or a Jabar Greer would be fine with me, Springs too old, need some youth back there.

You have a point Sean. Wheatley was looking good before his injury, but for some reason I really like Wilhite. The minute he replaced O'Neal it seem like there was less chaos in the secondary. I just think that with Rodney gone, we could use some veteran leadership in the secondary.

If I remember correctly BB said James Sanders was valuable to the team with the communication he brings to the secondary. Besides Hobbs I think he is the longest tenured member of the secondary.

It's a changing of the guard I guess, it's just hard to let go of the "OLD GUARD".

Apparently he never visited the Patriots and is going to come to foxborough today, so there's still interest. Per rotoworld

the snow storm must have held him up.

Looks like he's going to be an Eagle. From what I've read, he visited with them tonight, and will meet with reporters tomorrow-which means he all but signed a contract.

If this is true, then it looks like Sheldon Brown is on the trading block. Rumors are flying that he's unhappy with his current contract, and the Eagles are entertaining the idea of trading him to Zona for Boldin.
