Any news on how the Shawn Springs visit went I know he was in foxboro yesterday, usually Reiss would have reported something by now right.

FYI-he's scheduled to visit here in Dallas. Over on the CMB, our "insider" thinks he'll be wearing a Cowboy uniform when all is said and done.

The weather's better and the income is tax-free. Who can blame him?

Unless, of course, he wants to win a Super Bowl. ;)

Hopefully we will snag Leigh Bodden!! I think he is the best CB in FA that fits into our system!!

Still holding out for either Bodden or McFadden--I'd be real happy w/ either

I would really like to get Springs and either bodden or Mcfadden. If we did we would be pretty strong at DB.

Anyone else a little surprised we aren't pursuing McFadden a little harder? I think he'd be a perfect fit as he really came on the past couple yrs, and comes from good stock (lebeau defense, steelers etc)

If anyone's salary demands would probably be significantly less, I would think it'd be him. He just seems like one of those typical up and coming, good money type fits for our team. BB must see something he dosen't like, or maybe his demands are too much, oh well.

Give me Bodden. Give me McFadden. Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire.

Let's face up to it guys, the only way the Patriots are going to

have a first rate cornerback is through the draft. If the Pats continue

to draft cornerbacks, eventually they will hit upon a good one. They

are not prepared to pay 6-8 million dollars per year to get one thru free

agency.

and they usually take 2-3 years to develop. So immediate help on third down is unclear at the moment. Of course, he is God, so he has got to have some plan to fix it, right?

Hi Mack:

Just wanted to let you know I enjoyed watching you play back

in the 1970's when I had season tickets. Back then, tickets

only cost $5 for endzone seats.

And I for one am fine with that philosophy.......CB and WRs are prima donnas and overpaid.......

Rotoworld says we let him leave. He's going to visit the Saints next.

Patriots Insiders claims that they want a corner on the Cheap. BB doesn't like to spend big money on corners, but we have to improve our secondary. It's early. We still have time. Who knows? Maybe we will get lucky in the draft. I just don't want to see another Deltha O'Neal or Fernando Bryant in our secondary.

I think Wilhite and Wheatly will be better.. Remember we had Assante as a 4th round pick, these are high picks.. Leigh Bowden or a Jabar Greer would be fine with me, Springs too old, need some youth back there.

It is not good football business sense to overpay for mediocrity.

Springs, Bodden, etc. are not worth $7 mill/per. A 2nd round corner would be nearly as productive and much cheaper. Plus, we have Wilhite and Wheatley with a year's experience in the system.

In this league, you pay for the Brady's, Moss's, Wilfork's, etc. Giving big money to good, not great DB's is not good business.

Now, I agree that we need help in the secondary. But, the greater need is a pass rush. It will be interesting to see if they make a play for Taylor.
