Yep... you'd have to be mad to play for the Jets. That's for sure.

Bart is a real nice guy off the field.

He just likes to play good old fashioned violent football.

No big deal, everyone does it.

Isn't this the guy they called the "runaway linebacker"? He almost reneged on his deal to go back to Baltimore while CALLING from the Jets facility. Scott is just a weird guy.

Settle down "francis".

I wonder if he'll follow his coach to Detroit after he's fired in 2 years?

Detroit press:
Lions "mad backer" promises 'violent' defense. And this time he means it.

Newark Star Ledger
Jet's shift gears and hire a castoff offensive coordinator this time. Claims the D will be soft..but the O will be good old fashioned violent

So how will you feel when he does THIS again? :D

Dude.. that wasn't his fault! He was just playing violent. That little yellow flag really pissed him off, and it got what was coming to it.

I hate those yellow flags, glad someone finally stood up and did something.

Rumor is that there was a bounty out on that yellow flag. :D

It reminded kim of a Terrible Towel.

Did you hear the announcers calling him a "single cell" or was it Hispanic words? Listen at the end.

He's also trying to quell suspicions of tampering by the sounds of it.

It was a blatent hold. And as Randy said.. "hell they were holding all night...not sure why dude was so freaked out all of a sudden''.

Hey...at least he will still be able to hang out with Ray Ray and act like a ****** during the superbowl.. cuz we all know he won't be playing in it.

Playing violent (within the rules) is fine. Playing uncontrolled or stupid is not the Pats way (not to say that we haven't had a few hotheaded moments as well).

Scott is an excellent player, and he will no doubt help the Jets D and will bring a level of intensity and intimidation that has been lacking. Give him credit for that. But he has frequently played out of control and has had stupid penalties, of which throwing the flag is only one example. Personally, I think he would be a better asset if he could smarten up a bit and control his intensity better. Easier said than done. Probably the Jets will get what he was in Baltimore, for better or worse.

C'mon guys. Stop makin' fun of the guy's signature play...

Can the "mad backer" can play QB too?

Let's get serious here for a second guys. If the Pats brought in a SILB who promised to play with violence and cause chaos, we would all be avoiding sweatpants for a week. It's something inate in the heart of every linebacker worth his salt to love violence; to love the fight of the game. It's a trait that is valued within the game and one that I personally admire. C'mon fellas, there's nothing wrong with being an intense, emotional player. Frankly, this defense could use more of it.
