Sorry if he resigned anywhere.
Would a 2nd get him or would he want too much $$?
thanks

he'd cost more than what we got for cassel.

he'd cost Moss money

we need defense

and look at his stats against against top tier teams.. He's not that impressive.. (this is something I read about)

Not to mention there just wouldn't be enough balls to go around between Moss, him, and Welker. There's diminishing returns on each new pro bowl wideout you get.

This is another "who wouldn't want to have him, but we don't actually need him" situations. If he came here, we'd have 3 WR's who demand double coverage. But there's no way we could afford him, and even if we could, I think that money could be better spent elsewhere (some DB's, some LB's for starters).

A.) He wants big bucks
B.) He's still under contract to Arizona, so we'd have to trade something of value to get him
C.) With the amount of available cap space the Pats have, is it worth it to go after an expensive WR? It makes more sense to upgrade other areas (LB, S, CB) and extend other key players (Wilfork, Seymour, Mankins) rather than use that $ on a much lower-priority concern (replacing Gaffney) in my opinion.

perfect.. Law of diminishing returns.. THis is why COles or Harrison would be perfect.. They are vet receivers who run great routes.. For the right cash, I would definitely bring them in.

Coles would be my choice. But like you said, the money would have to be right, because I don't want to take too many resources away from rebuilding this defense.

I'm willing to bet cash that Coles will end up in Miami, but I agree that someone like him is the best option.

Good luck with that, Laverneus. Hope you're able to pass to yourself :p

How about Holt for a fourth or fifth? The Rams are definately shopping him. He is still very quick.

What's his contract like?

I would LOVE to get Harrison only to drive colt fans nuts.

he'd have to restructure, but i would definitely give a 4th.. We have so many high picks this year we're either going to trade some late round picks for players or for future draft picks.. So I'm on board..
