Hey everyone ... here's the full transcript of the recently-concluded conference call we just held with Fred Taylor:

It Is What It Is

Good stuff.. I like his comments about Fears' and how they had been talking all week??

Well, one thing is for sure.. We know who wears the pants in the Taylor family...

Fred Taylor said:
I was half way there when I got off the plane. I had to come home and check with the boss lady and make sure she was happy. Ultimately, it was my decision but you got to make sure you check in with the boss first. I was ready to sign before I left, but we had to work out some small numbers.

I think that Fred is going to have a good year... And I think he will help Maroney..

What stood out to me was the number of times he said Brady and Moss. :D

Yeah baby!.

Loved the no brainer part comparing the Bills and Pats:singing:

poor Bills..

interesting, but i didn't like that comment...the pats tend not to like quotes that other teams can put on their locker room bulletin boards for motivation during game week. that definitely falls into that category.

I don't think the Bills have enough talent to put that bulletin board material into action on the field.

FT: ...Who wouldn’t want to play in New England? They have been the most successful organization in the last decade or so.

Didn't the Jags' website put an asterisk by NE in 07 before the NY Post even took to doing it? Or some such diss.

Hopefully this quote is making the rounds down there too :)

Notice this FA pattern?

Taylor, Baker and Bodden (not signed, but visited) were all cut by their previous teams, not released. Thus they will not count in a free agent net gain. We have already lost Paxton and Gaffney, who will count as free agent losses, albeit with small AAV, probably a 6 and 7 in comp pick terms. I think the Pats are very aware of this and will keep an eye on this throughout the FA season, and only sign a FA whose contract has expired if it's really worth it...

A possible 2010 uncapped season process percolating at the back of your mind?

I got a kick out of the Boss Lady questions.
