Per Florioni:

Receiver Jabar Gaffney got a chance to resurrect his career over the past couple of years in New England.

Mired in a depth chart featuring men like Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Donte’ Stallworth, and Kelley Washington, Gaffney earned reps and made plays.

He’s now a free agent, and he could be reuniting with the offensive coordinator who presided over Gaffney’s rebirth.

Per a league source, Gaffney will visit with the Broncos, whose new head coach Josh McDaniels was the offensive coordinator during Gaffney’s time in New England.

Drafted in 2002 by the Texans, Gaffney spent four years with the team before signing with the Eagles. But Philly cut him before the 2006 season, and Gaffney landed with the Pats for three seasons.

Me too, and our #3 is who again? Is Bill gonna suit up at WR?

Whoa... that's a messed up mental image.

Re: Gaffney to Denver?

Me too. Even though he was driving me nuts last year with the key drops, I still hoped he'd be back this year.

I felt the same way about Moss... ;)

Unless we have a Coles or Clayton in mind, Gaffney is a priority..

Quick, get Chad Jackson on the phone!

It might be easier if the Mods just wrote the posts for us...

I really think Gaff is important. We play in a 3 WR set all the time, so it's crucial we have a dependable 3rd WR. But there are some interesting FA, though they are pricy in comparison with Gaff. I sure hope he stays!!!

My last two posts have been edited for betterness or something.

It's your Big brotha from anotha motha.

Really? Did we take bailout money or something?

I wasn't sure why you wanted to do this at 7:30 in the morning. Then it occurred to me - you are in China and it is dinner there and you want a pizza delivered.

I thought that delivery guy looked a little out of place.

JAG.

Just a guy.

Before people jump on me for "ripping the guy who might be leaving", yeah, he makes some nice catches for us but he also had some big drops last year and didn't receive much of a nibble last year during FA. I don't want to lose any "starter" or contributor but I'm certainly not overly bothered by this.

Not really shocked. I would expect him to visit KC and Cleveland too. My guess is unless one of those teams overpays for him, he will be back.

I think there is alot of FA that could fill this role. Drew bennett, galloway, bobby engram and a few others not a huge deal if we do loose him IMO.

i am a little bit divided between my judgement: some big games and some bad ones...

let's see
