I got a feeling we're going to see something cool in 37 minutes.

So funny. Who would really do this kind of business at midnight but rockstars, filmmakers and athletes?

Evans probably has a new contract in principle. Watch the Cassel move happen immediately and all our important impending FA guys will suddenly have new contracts.

Then what would we talk about the rest of the offseaosn?

Why the Pats made a mistake and shouldn't have traded him . . .

I was just wondering where Reiss went didn't post for a few hours there nice to see he is monitoring things and will post if he has anything...thats one blog to refresh a bunch

Damn! That immediately puts Hochstein as the number one free agent about to hit the market in a half an hour.

I would like to see Evans and Hochstein back, but if they leave it ain't the end of the world.

Evans has said he doesn't want to go anywhere. The only way he's leaving is if (A) someone makes a ridiculously stupid offer for a FB (e.g., $5M/yr), or (B) the Pats tell him they're not resigning him.

Evens will be back......Where is Matty Boy going?????

Evans will be back . BB puts too much stock in blocking and faulk and evans are the ones he trust to put against over aggresive defenses and when OL is having issues.Plus he has developed his recieving skills and is part of the reason the pats ran for 2400 yds .

satz

They'll both be back, imo.

Personally, I think the odds are pretty good that both will be back assuming the Pats want them. Neither should get ridiculous offers on the open market even with more branches of the Patriots tree. Something tells me that NcDaniels and Pioli will try to respect the unwritten rule that you don't leave and take players from your former team at least until that team makes every effort to keep them if they want.
