I have great memories of that whole season that will last me forever. I also have a tupperware box filled with memorabilia too much stuff to mention.

Nothing beats the Patriots 1st SB victory, well, 19-0 would of come close.

Without a doubt, it's the feeling I had when Adam's kick went through the Uprights and I drew a breath for a split second to be sure that there were no flags before waking the dead with my screams. I will always "own" that moment.

I agree with the Poster who said that 19--0 could possibly have been my only Pat's-related feeling to come close.

I have a ton of good stuff...

The night before the first super bowl win, we went to the player hotels, and got a T-shirt with about 15 signatures on it including Troy Brown and Vinateri, and a TON of no names ;)

Which being there surprised just how normal dude looking Loonie Paxton was... he looked like a kid...

At that same day time in the hotel I met Pootie Tang, and Wanda Sykes, which was funny because I recognized Pooite tang, stopped him and asked him who he was he looked fimiliar, he said "I'm in a movie Pooite Tang" real shy like... and I said, ahhh I knew I recognized you... and walked away...

Of the game, we still have all for of our ticket stubs, bolas from Bourbon Street, beads with pats stuff on it, Hell...

I still have the seat warmer cushion thing they put on every seat in the stadium complete with a collectors teddy bear thing inside it...

Most of all, I still have the memory of holding my head, shaking it back and forth feeling as though I'm going to pass out in disbelief when the ball sailed through the uprights going seemingly right at me, followed by lots of jumping group and down and hugging every stranger with pats gear on in my section...

Most amazing, emotionally overwhelming moment of my life... I've never felt so confused, excited, bewildered, empowered, exhausted, and unstoppable all at the same time...

troy brown jersey w/ patch on it.

...

Still have my seat cushion and ticket stub.....Funny thing bout the seat cushion is we were in a rams section and we grabed like four or five extra for my Bros and For Papa Joe and we had to buy a duffle bag on bourbon st to carry it all. So in all our glory we are walking down a packed Bourbon st with two duffle bags full of memorabilia both from the stadium and bourbon st, Stogies in our mouth Hurricanes drink in hand.....And than we spot Ricky the guy who sat behind us for like 20 years at foxboro stadium absolutely freaky. We finished our victory cigars with them and I havent seen him since.

I also wondered into the Patriot hotel the day before and met Big Sey, Took a picture with Willie, Cox, Pat the Patriot,

Saw Lawyer on Bourbon St fri night before the game...Funny too because when I saw him I went up to him and said hi and good luck and my father thought it was a friend until I walked away and clued him in.

Absolutely amazing memories.....never forget...infact bourbon st was so good to us we went through New Orleans on our way to Houstan a few years later this time all the bros and Mom were able to come too...

Needless to say I am looking forward to the road trip to New Orleans this year....

I don't really own anything all that unique. All I bought was the championship DVD when it came out.

The memories of that night are the most important thing to me. Going absolutely NUTS with my father when the kick went through is one of my fondest memories; and I'm talking in all of life, not just football memories.

I also recall you once mentioning that you stayed in Disney at the Port Orleans to give you that New Orleans connection for winning Supebowls.

That means for the 01 win you stayed in NO, for 03 you went to Houston by way of New Orleans and for '04 you completed things by staying at Port Orleans.

What happened in AZ?? I think we finally know where to pin the blame for the Giant loss.....it's you and your family;s fault SBB.

DO not repeat that error on your way to Miami this year please......New Orleans to Miami isn't much more than a day and half's drive I think.....or you can stay at Disney again and drive on down - or find another connection - better get to work on that now SBB.

Great memories (MY memories)!

I won a signed SB hat signed by everyone from that team.

I had the choice of getting that or the first game to Gillette Stadium. Did I make the right choice? I've always wondered that.

The boxer's fracture in my middle knuckle on my right hand from punching a concrete wall as the Rams were staging (what I thought at the time was) a comeback. Other than that, my first Brady. Never got the box of Wheaties.

you took the hat???

Wow you missed one of the best regular season Patriots games ever....to this day I am not sure I have heard Gillete louder...the first banner going up was awsome.

I still have my counterfeit tickets, with the holograms that i paid just under list for. I wasn't allowed to keep my NFL tickets replacements, provided by the NFL, on the 50 yard line, up 25 rows, though. ;)

Have an official game ball.
Wife worked in the State House and they offered them to legislators for $100 a pop. She got one for my birthday. So what if she can't cook?

Yep after being part of the Super Bowl win, we made sure we travelled up to Gillette for the home opener of the new stadium against the hated Steelers, and the banner...

Oh man, that was an amazing night, especially as McGinnest kept causing to much disruption for the Steeler offense, and then the giant megatron scoreboard kept replaying the Kordel quote of "Sometimes the better team doesn't win" and every time they played it... the Stadium went NUTS!

Good stuff. For six months out of the year, this story and ones like it, make me want to live in Foxboro.

The story is, my dad took me to some golf tournament with him that day. It was about 2 PM when we finished, and he bought some raffle tickets for the charity. We won, so it was either that hat signed by everyone on that team or tickets to that game. My dad figured since we only had less than 6 hours to get there to take the hat.

But he brings it up once in awhile that getting a ticket to that game, going, then finding Bob Kraft somewhere and having him sign the ticket stub would have been more valuable than the hat.

I still have an unopened box of Wheaties. It sits there on the shelf and I dust it with the other odds and ends. :)
