Looking deep into the part of my bedroom closet today, I discovered an item that I had forgottten I had purchased after the Pats SB 36 victory - A still sealed box of Wheaties with several patriots players on the front- A box of Wheaties cost me just $2 and change to get it, but it still is my most unique memorabilia from 2001/2002

I think most of us fans can agree that we probably spent more money on things after SB 36 than the other SBs in 38 and 39 since it was such a shock and pleasant surprise not to mention the very first title for the Patriots

What is your most unique item or unusual piece from the first SB victory in SB 36 that you still own?

haha I still got my box of Wheaties too, but I ate the cereal lol

I have a sideline "poncho" thing that press people or whoever wore during the game, signed by Adam Vinatieri. (My friend works for the Tonight Show and got him to sign it when he was on.)

Some time after the Patriot's first Super Bowl win, they came

to Portland. I have two photographs which were taken at Portland

Jet Port. In one I am shaking the hand of Bob Kraft and the other

shows Adam Vinatieri autographing my Patriot's hat. The pictures

showed up one night on my Outlook Express. They had been taken by my

son on the PPD digital camera.

We still have a box of unopened Wheaties too.

But the most unique thing we have and I have to give the Credit to my father who is a modest collector but a smart one....We have one of the eight endzone Pylons from that game.

We also have one from the Panther SB and two from the Steelers AFC championship game prior to the Eagles SB (He could not find them for the Eagles game itself)

One of the coolest things he owns.

My Reebok SB hat....

I have one of those gold plated SB XXXVI coins they used for the coin toss. I use it when I play poker.

Unfortunately I don't still own anything after Katrina flooded the crap out of my house.

However I used to have all kinds of promos from the game, and a copy of the local paper they were selling in the Quarter after the game that had a picture of Law returning the INT for a TD and the headline read "Revolutionary." I had that thing framed, I loved it.

Stained undershorts.

A original hat from SB 36 my mistake was taking the official NFL holograhm off. I recantly found the holograhm stuck to the side of an old tv. Now i just have to figure out how to get it off the tv and put it back on the hat which i've never worn. Then it might be worth something. It was bought the morning after the SB win and only so many were made. Even if i put the sticker back on it i don't intend to try and sell it...... If i remember right these hats were going for about $125-150 a couple of days later on E-Bay

How'd you get the pylons?

I have that same Wheaties box with Vinatieri's autograph on it.

Me too with the wheaties.

That's funny.

I have the SI as well, with Willie on the cover crushing Warner.

I think they were purchased through NFL Auctions The NFL does Auctions for charity of memrobilia I believe it is done online but I am not sure of the specifics. Probably not hard to find out the deal though I can have him post the website later

He may have got one or two on Ebay also.

NFL Auction is where you can get that kind of unique memorabilia - with certificate of authenticity of course!!!!!!!

SBB is right, it is for one of the NFL's charities....he is a smart kid.

well it's not SB 36, but i got an autographed tom brady super bowl 38 ball which he immediately signed after the game. i think it's limited to 500 or so.

I have a copy of the Media Guide the Pats issued to the press corp. Pretty neat.

My fave is from that season, but the start, not the finish. I went to the first training camp and kept the roster sheet with Big Sey's autograph.

One thing I do still have that I forgot about is a tshirt from a random French Quarter shop after the game. One of the non licensed "Patriots Super Bowl 36 Champions" tshirts, I can't imagine there were too many made since everyone thought the Rams were going to steam roll us.
