That is priceless. Excellent running and excellent writing. I have a feeling that combination is quite unusual.

I won't say what those "things" are, but I will say that it rhymes with "CiCi's" -- and I'm not talking the pizza chain!

Hah, that was a good read this morning thanks for posting it.

Kentucky Fried Camel.:D

Last installment of his diary from his mideast trip. It's very impressive to me on multiple levels. (I especially like his bitterness :D)

Morris diary: Basrah, Baghdad and Super Bowl in Kuwait

Thanks for posting PJ.. I may have missed that had you not.

Morris is to be commended for sure for taking the time to visit the troops, his writing is darn good and I loved his humor along with how he expressed his emotions of the experience. Really helps to remind us here at home what these guys are going through over there, every single day.

Also good to read his "bitterness" about the SB itself......let's hope next year, others are bitter toward New England's 5th SB appearance and 4th SB victory of the decade!!

He is truly one of those great veteran pick-ups you cannot help but cheer for.

:youtheman: Sammy!

Sammy rocks. Gotta love the guy.

He does write really well!

Oh well. We'll have to make do with whatever Willie Parker can come up with next year.

Not to pimp my alma mater or anything, but when you see how guys like... umm say...Wes Welker and Sammy Morris play the game, what the heck, maybe it's worth trading up with Detroit and taking Michael Crabtree.

He's very articulate, and his writing is full of humor as well.

I think we could get Kliff Kingsbury back for less ...

Good stuff. The ultimate judge of character is how a leader leads his men in battle. The one's who take it personal when some of their own are killed or injured are the true leaders. It gets me thinking how BB gets such a bad rap in the press as a soury curmudgeon, yet any of his players seem like they would run through a wall for him. If the NFL had ranks similar to the military BB would probably be 4-5 star general.:D

Hope he stops eating all that junk and gets back into his workout regime ASAP. :D

he's one of my fav's too...I can't remember the site, but last year I read an article about how he was a photography fanatic and had a blog somewhere. I think Riess linked to it and I read it some. I came away thinking that he was a pretty good writer and feel even more so after reading the Iraq blog.
