Signing the Sanders's and williams again would be the best situation. You wouldn't need to draft a safety. If James Sanders can't be had, then we'll have to draft a safety in the early rounds. I dont expect a late round safety as we already have one in Slater.

"PS: Stay away from Huff. As BB once said why do I want a defensive player that can't tackle??????"
Well then Bill shouldn't have Meriweather on his team....
Am i the only one who remembers him bouncing off John Carslon??
Sanders is every bit as good as Meriweather IMO
You guys are ridiculous.
Meriweather is better than Sanders, and I would rate them both as above-average tacklers.
Just because he missed a tackle on a rookie phenom TE doesn't mean he's a poor hitter. That you would even attempt to draw an equivalency with Michael Huff is ludicrous.
I don't understand this. Meriweather was called "The Hit Stick" in college, but can't make a solid tackle. What changed?
Now that's bad.Nothing changed except for some ridiculous assertions by others. Yeah, Meriweather is so bad he was only in for every play of every game after Rodney went down.
