Jets are the purgatory of the NFL
The New York Jets are a dead franchise, the purgatory of the NFL. Brett Favre, the all-time leader in every NFL stat, took these losers from 4-12 to 9-7 yet somehow Jets fans hate him.

Guess why your team and your fans have such a bad reputation around the NFL? Because you guys suck. You're classless whiners. I'm ashamed that for so many years I stuck up for Jets' fans and the organization. A culture of losing has permeated your team and your fan base. Good luck winning anything in the next ten years. Next year you will be crushed by the Patriots...again. Oh wait, didn't Favre actually beat them for you last year, in Foxboro? Yeah that's right, and it was one of the best regular season victories in your franchise's history.

Good night Jets "fans"!

My God, Jet fans on JI have the worst insults of all time.

Kellen Clemens he's our man...

Repeat after me Kellen Clemens is our man, with him YES WE CAN..do what i have know idea if it comes to winning.

I've said it before the jests are like the LA Clippers. Its where first round draft picks and coaches go to become busts. Hiya Rex. Oh yes Rex i've been reading the NY papers at work they are totally gaga over him. He's the next "savior" just like the one before him, and the one before him, and the one ....Well you all get the picture they don't.

This was probably mentioned before, but the thing to remember about Rexy is that his old man was a great DC but as a head coach, not so much.

(Actually he was a great DC for a year before everyone figured out how to beat his "unstoppable" scheme.)

Yes Buddy was a great DC. Some even credit him for the "85 Bears great season and SB win. But as a head coach he generally sucked. From what i remember he would always was a divisive force between his own offense and defensive squads. I guess it was if they team lost it was always the offenses fault.
I really don't understand all the hype in NY over Rex what has he ever done a a HC........nothing. But the NY papers are filled with stories about how great the Jest are going to be under him You would think they signed BB instead of an unproven DC. But the NY sports media keeps pumping him.

If you read those forums on a regular basis they become even funnier.

Whoever has a great game is the man for the future. They could easily go through 4-5 QB's a year and like and hate all of them at the same time.

That's essentially the New York media in a nutshell. Completely overhype something or someone in the beginning. If it turns out good, you can tell everyone, "I told ya so". If it turns out bad, rip them apart. Case and point is Brett Favre. Before '08, it was the New York Bretts. After '08, the New York media pretty much booted his ass out of town for the Jets.
