for the Eagles #21, #28, and a conditional 2nd round pick in 2010.
**Draft day trade: Skins swap #13 for the Bears 1st and 3rd.

Round One
1. Detroit – DE Brian Orakpo, Texas
Jim Schwartz will see shades of “The Freak,” Jevon Kearse.
2. Saint Louis – QB Matthew Stafford, UGA
The Rams are trying to create a new identity. In steps Stafford.
3. *Philadelphia (from KC) – RT/OG Andre Smith, Alabama
Philly wanted Jeff Otah in 2008, and now find a better version.
4. Seattle – DE Everett Brown, Florida St
Jim Mora wants to add a premier pass rusher. That’s Brown.
5. Cleveland – ILB Rey Maualuga, USC
Maualuga paired with star D’Qwell Jackson is instant intensity.
6. Cincinnati – WR Michael Crabtree, TT
After sending out an S.O.S for a WR in 2008, he’s irresistible.
7. Oakland – NG B.J. Raji, BC
The fact that Raji was unblockable at the Senior Bowl is enough.
8. Jacksonville – LT Eugene Monroe, Virginia
With no clear top prospect at OT, it comes down to who fits where.
9. Green Bay – LT Jason Smith, Baylor
With no glaring needs, the Packers may entertain trade offers.
10. San Francisco – LT Michael Oher, Mississippi
Give ‘em a whip and a fire the size of his ass and he’ll be alright.
11. Buffalo – SSLB Aaron Curry, Wake Forest
The Bills will fall in love with Curry’s athleticism and versatility.
12. Denver – DB Malcolm Jenkins, OSU
The Broncos will be looking to add a playmaker in the secondary.
13. **Chicago (from Washington) – DE Aaron Maybin, PSU
With only 4 picks, the Skins’ #13 is in play: Maybin, the wildcard.
14. New Orleans – CB/FS Sean Smith, Utah
6’-3” shutdown CB: ex-WR/TB: 4.3 speed: film room junkie.

The Skins make a nice move down to grab the line’s new anchor.
19. Tampa Bay – QB Mark Sanchez, USC
The Bucs’ John Gruden finally gets a top QB…Oops! Sorry, John.

The Lions want to upgrade their LB’s and strong side is the key.

Pioli finds a Tom Brady disciple in the strong-armed Freeman.
22. Minnesota – DE Robert Ayers, Tennessee
A four star LB recruit who gave Michael Oher and Andre Smith fits.
23. New England – CB Mike Mickens, Cincinnati
Forget “measurables.” Mickens’ productivity is too great to ignore.
24. Atlanta – FS Louis Delmas, Western Michigan
Delmas is being compared to Bob Sanders and Michael Griffin.
25. Miami – MLB Gerald McRath, Southern Miss
McRath is highly productive and rightly called a “man among boys.”
26. Baltimore – DB Vontae Davis, Illinois
Davis could use some work but the raw talent is definitely there.
27. Indianapolis – WR Jeremy Maclin, Missouri
Maclin creates heavy pre-draft “top ten” buzz but this is realistic.
28. *KC (from Philly through Carolina) – RB Shonn Greene, Iowa
Greene has the consistency and toughness that they badly need.
29. NY Giants – RB Chris “Beanie” Wells, OSU
Unless Wells proves healthy and fast, he’ll tumble, and tumble far.
30. Tennessee – DT Peria Jerry, Mississippi
Whether or not they can keep Haynesworth, Jerry would be a lift.
31. Arizona – RB Knowshon Moreno, UGA
Nice effort down the stretch, but it’s all over now for “Edge.”
32. Pittsburgh - CB Alphonso Smith, Wake Forest
Size is a minor concern but he can create turnovers like few others.
