Alex Boone arrested

I am NOT an Alex Boone fan and have never felt he would be a good fit for the Pats, but a lot of mocks have had him going to us in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. The following will probably drop him like a rock:

Just like the rest of the Ohio State offensive lines hes overrated they need to get their act together down in Columbus, the level of talent in this years incoming class should help take care of that.

I agree. If you can get 2-4 round talent in the 6-7 round on condition of checking into AA, I think you do it.

I'm still sorting things out...but I think at worst he's at the low end of that range. I didn't get many looks at him this season, but I saw a lot of him the previous two, so it's possible his play has regressed and I don't know it.

I didn't see him as a NE value at all...and since when have you required a drinking partner to entertain you?

Boone was taken into custody late Sunday for investigation of resisting arrest after Orange County sheriff's deputies responded to a disturbance call. When they arrived, the 6-8, 312-pound Boone was seen jumping on car hoods, yanking on a tow truck cable and trying to break a window. Boone then fled the scene and ultimately had to be tasered to be subdued. Boone, a first-team Big Ten this year, had been considered to be a potential mid-round pick at the 2009 draft.

the dude was having some fun.........as long as he wasn't dragging his gal around by the hair or showing his privates in public, what's the big deal? coupla dented hoods? baah......those cars are insured.......yanking on a tow truck cable? errrr........mmmkay, whatever turns you on........

the only thing that disturbs me is that he 'tried to break a window' ..... sorry, if you're 6'8"/312, you break than window, or you're lacking the physical capacity for the sport
