From the National Football Post:
Yeah, those comparisons look so appealing.
[OK, to be fair, Pennington ain't bad. But the rest of them--Do Not Want.]
In what some scouts are calling the worst senior quarterback class to come along in years, NFL executives are left searching high and low for NFL-caliber signal callers. The 2009 senior quarterback class includes two small-school prospects, a spread-offense QB and a possible sleeper who didn’t even start his senior season.
The Leaders
Rhett Bomar, Sam Houston State (6-2, 224)
NFL Player Comparison: J.P. Losman
Graham Harrell, Texas Tech (6-2, 217)
NFL Player Comparison: Chad Pennington
The Contender
Nathan Brown, Central Arkansas (6-2, 217)
NFL Player Comparison: Tyler Thigpen
The Sleeper
Stephen McGee, Texas A&M (6-3, 223)
NFL Player Comparison: Josh McCown
