404 as i write this....he's up next after commercial

Thanks for the heads up.

I've had the NFL Network on, as said in another thread I find the NBC coverage incredibly boring today.

Someone please post a summary, thanks!

He's going over Steelers defensive game film and Cardinals offensive game film from a pre-recording sit down with Colinsworthless.

Very upbeat sounding and lasted about 2 minutes.

NBC owes this board big-time! No way would I have watched any pregame coverage otherwise :D

Very overhyped.

(but BB is awesome - said "Campbell Sandwich")

Yes very upbeat...

Miss hearing him do these things....

was really disappointing IMO. it was about 4 plays of both defenses. i thought he would talk offense too but that is all there is to it ithink after all the hype really.

Collinsworth ended the bit by saying to Bill he really should consider going into coaching, because he's really good at it. :)

i wouldnt be disappointed. i mean, the better the football mind you have, the less airtime you get. Matt Millen speaks 2X more than Tony dungy and Mike Holmgren combined.

I was kinda hoping BB would be on set with Dungy. That would have been very interesting!

The fact that the following segment devoted just as much time to Kevin James plugging his Paul Blart, Mall Cop movie , interviewed by a weatherman, speaks volumes. The Super Bowl is aimed as much towards people who haven't watched one game all year as it is to fans who watch every week.

Given the short amount of time he was given, BB did very well. Collinsworth, an ex-NFL player, seemed genuinely impressed. Now we can all return to NFL Network; NBC is interviewing Bruce Springsteen despite his already admitting he hasn't paid close attention to the NFL in years.

Why? From all accounts Dungy and Belichick get along well, despite Dungy's comments following Spygate.

Not true...despite Spygate comments? That's like saying Lincoln and John W. Booth got along fine except for the night at Ford's Theatre..

There is only 2 men who know how that relationship is and their names are Belichick and Dungy. Up until 2 weeks ago, just about everyone said and could reference dozens of sources that Belichick and Parcells were still on harsh terms - then they are seen sitting next to each other scouting....

Heavily edited, I think: hard to believe BB would spend the time seeking out game film for both teams and only spend two minutes on them. A little disappointing, but BB got as much info into his time as possible.

Of course, many of the plays (the bootleg vs. the Cards' D, taking advantage of overaggressiveness by Polamalu) came to fruition during the game. *sigh* I'm just so glad he's NE's coach... :rocker:
