is it the 30 minute version or the original broadcast version

Its the original broadcast. Too bad the picture quality on NFL Network HD looks like an VHS tape being upconverted.

Thanks! I needed this.
Tom Brady was young and innocent.
What has happened to him?
Those pictures in the Herald today were disturbing. He's got to get rehabbing.

It's nuts to see how little snap Tommy has on his deep ball back then... and man, what bad mechanics and release angle on a short out.

You know who's performance is standing out to me while watching this game?

John Madden's.

Seriously -- he's totally engaged in every play, and talking more X's and O's than fluffy stuff -- pointing out pulling linemen, how the Pats are using their 6-DB formations, etc.

Watching some of the action, I wonder if the outcome would be the same if it was played with todays rules. On Law's interception, Vrabs hit Warner (ever so slightly) in the head. Would that be called today? I wonder.

if the steelers win on sunday, have they surpassed the patriots as the premier franchise in the league? I just want to know what you guys think.

premier franchise of this decade or all time? steelers were a premeir franchise for all time even before this sb. they have 5 rings with a lot more historically great teams.
this decade, pats have the edge.

IMO...the best halftime show ever.

I agree. I think the pats are clearly the team of the decade. no question about it. they might have surpassed the 70's steelers if they had won it all last year. but no doubt, they are still the team of the decade regardless of what the steelers do on sunday

Madden is OK, but Pat Summerall should've been put out to pasture before calling this game. No excitement in his voice.

I don't know what "premier franchise" award requires. But if they win, that would make them...two-time winners of the most recent Super Bowls... You know what I mean.

And I guess know what you mean and I'd agree. Pretty good showing. But I am also one that doesn't dwell on the "3 rings" thing or use it to attack other teams' fans. 2004 was, for me, a long time ago.

I am so angry I missed this. I can't believe I stopped surfing and stopped at Pitch Black. I had figured there was nothing else on. Damn, this makes an already bad night even worse in retrospect. ARGH!

Since about 1970 they have been arguably the top franchise in the NFL over the long haul. In the 30 years or so before that they were apparently one of the worst, if not the worst, franchise. So in the Super Bowl era they are right up there.

As to this decade alone, I don't think you can put them up there with the Patriots just yet. In 2005 they won because they pulled it together amazingly well and sneaked in as a 6th seed but was playing better than anybody.

It's one thing to win when you start playing great in December, and another to win all year when you carry the big bulls-eye target as the favorite even before the season starts, yet you still come out on top (2004), win back-to-backs (03,04), with no flukes beat what was supposedly one of the best offenses ever (2001), or flirt with perfection (2007).

They can talk when they go to 4 Super Bowls, have an Undefeated Regular Season, Win 3 Lombardi's and have a League MVP.

And break as many records as we did last year.

What is their Post Season record compared to ours?

What is their Regular Season record compared to ours?

I don't really understand the comparison - other than filling time.
