Okay kids, player, position, location of contact (if known), and source. If we have those four items we're good to go.

Senior Bowl contacts per NFL Draft countdown:

DT Alex Magee
S_ Louis Delmas
LB Tyrone McKenzie
LB Rey Maualuga
DL Robert Ayers
OL Alex Mack
CB Macho Harris
CB Keenan Lewis

Fokou has a really good burst off of the edge. He is about 6'2 225-230 so he is a little undersized but another speed based guy. He was the only player in the ACC to finish the season with at least 75+ tackles and 5.0+ sacks.

I watch a good amount of ACC football and he always struck me as a high energy guy who would at least be a good special teamer.

Another scout.com article has a Patriots - Nic Harris (S, Oklahoma) interest. It also says they were very impressed with interviews with Maualuga and Matthews.

Im not positive, but it seemed that Nic Harris was being tried out at LB... am I correct?

Yup, he was moved to OLB for the Senior Bowl and has the Tampa 2 teams drooling.

Before Cal's bowl game I was thinking BB might surprise us and take Alex Mack. That was before I saw him in that Bowl game and at Senior Bowl practice. I think he'll struggle in pass protection against the NFL's bigger and stronger players. Bama's Antoine Caldwell looked like a better overall center and much stronger than Mack in drills.

A tip_o_the_cap to PatsCanDoIt for pointing us at this article on CB Ellis Lankster.

At this time a year ago, Ellis Lankster wasn't thought of as much of an NFL prospect. He readily admits as much.

Little by little, things began to change, starting around this time a year ago.

Now, by no means does the former WVU defensive back think he's developed into an early round draftee, but he knows he gets the sense he's catching more teams' eyes with each passing day.

He estimates he's spoken to 10 teams since arriving in Mobile for the Senior Bowl, including the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets and Carolina Panthers.

Added Rashad Johnson and Antoine Caldwell

Senior Bowl Wrapup: News and Notes : RollTideBama Blog

Rashad was targeted for sit down interviews with a slew of NFL teams including the Patriots, Ravens, Jaguars, Chargers, Rams, Panthers, Vikings, and 49ers.
Caldwell generated serious interest from over a dozen NFL teams including the Bears, Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs, Jaguars, Broncos, Patriots, and Steelers.

Re: Added Rashad Johnson and Antoine Caldwell

For whatever reason, Caldwell is one guy I am keeping an eye on. He caught my attention during an Alabama game. One of those 2 second scouting reviews.

I have no idea what round he is predicted for, but am willing to bet the Pats will draft a center this year since there seems to be fairly large quantity of good ones.

Caldwell seems to be the stout blocker type to my eyes.

He's a leaner, not a true flat back drive blocker. Decent in pass protection. He benefitted greatly by having Davis and Johnson on either side of him at alabama, they sucked up most of the rush and he just had to clean up the left overs.
In practice, Mount Cody ate his lunch on a regular basis. (No pun intended)

Could we be looking at the next Wilhite in Lankster? He's rated as a 6th round pick, but the Pats may well 'reach' for him in round 4 or 5 if they really like him. He's described as a good 'cover' corner.

Ellis Lankster | West Virginia, CB : 2009 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile

It would be weird having 2 players named Ellis on the same team...

Personally, if you're going to draft another smurf corner, I'd rather just take Alphonso Smith or DJ Moore early.

FB Brock Bolen...

Brock Bolen, FB, Louisville - source draftdaddy.com

Here's the source article:

New England and Miami have shown more than casual interest, said Brady, who represents numerous NFL figures, including Browns tackle Ryan Tucker and linebacker-turned-coach Bryan Cox.
---

Classic sleeper it seems. A 5114 238 hard-nosed FB/RB. Projected round 7-FA.

Curious if the Pats focused on one of Bolen's blockers at Louisville - OC Eric Wood. I like Wood as one of the OC/RG candidates. We've mentioned the OC/RG position as a possible round 1-3 position the Pats may prioritize. This is a good draft for Centers -- some of whom can play Guard. Wood played RG (first time ever) at the Senior Bowl -- and impressed.
