Buddies again

It's only natural that Parcells would get over Belichick leaving the Jets in that way.

No one in football understands better than Parcells what it means to get out from under a contract and move on to a new situation, where the grass is greener.

Naturally.

There's a bomb in that satchel.

A couple of years ago they were at a baseball game in Fla together. Their issues were resolved before that. So there is nothing new about them being seen together.

Very True. I think Pioli helped the healing process between those two back in the day.

I think it's one of those, I like ya now and we did great things but there ain't no way in hell we could ever work with each other again type of relationships.

I thought Pioli absolutely does not talk to Parcells at all, family situation, and I don't care to know the particulars.

it looks like Peter Falk talking to Alan Arkin in "The In-Laws"

"Shelley, 10 years from now we'll all be sitting around the table having a big laugh"

I wasn't aware that the two guys ever had personal issues with each other.
Maybe the "media" created that-:confused2::confused2:

They're probably joking about how fast they jumped off the good ship Titanic known as the J-E-T-S.

Boy, BP looks like he got really old in a hurry. He should bring back the platinum hair.

No, it was real. Alot of it stemmed from how BP left the Pats and (maybe?) how BB left the Jets.

Owens stole ten years from him. He's lucky he got out of there alive.

By the way, welcome back you shmuck.:D

Aww, that's sweet. :singing: Thanks.

Serendipity!:

Pioli is gone.

Dolphins sold.

Parcells back to Pats!

Count it, ladies.

(PS - don't count it. I am just kidding.)

Come on PJ. A post like that deserves its own thread.

I know you weren't the type before to post such ridiculous topics like "What if <insert name of past player or coach> came back?

But as punishment for your temporary escape from Patsfans.com, you are sentenced to start the following thread:

Thread title "Parcells Back?"

The message would be:

"If Parcells gets out of his contract, maybe he could help out in the front office.
With Pioli gone, they could someone with experience in the organization. Just an idea, what do you think?"

Back to BP/CW, I've heard Weis say positive things about Parcells in the past.

I like Patriot in NY's description of the photo.

You know I'm the first one to give parcells credit for what he did and for pushing BB to excel (even if it's bullying, notice BB reacts well to people saying he can't do something).

Nevertheless, I cannot see BB working with Parcells again. It would be like moving back with the parents and BB would not take to the tough love treatment he did when it was about proving himself.

BB is all about control now and Parcells has always been.

LOL. I need to edit my post so that it's obvious that it's a joke. I could get myself into trouble here.

I agree. Between the 2 of them they have 3 egos. Of course 2 1/2 of them are Big Bill's.
