Maybe Cowher won't be back next year?

A lot of fans think he's a great coach. I think he is a good coach and nothing more. He only won 1 SB. He is over-rated imo.
Its interesting that both of his coordinators are coaching this years SB.

Most of BB's coordinators have not down as well.

Tomlin wasn't one of Cowher's asst. he came from the vikings

He's a very good coach, but like BB he will need an ownership that will support "his" program as he shapes the entire program in his image. Teams like Cleveburgh, Jesters, Detroit are ruled by ownership/leadership who can't get it right just aren't going to attract him.

yes, Bill Belichick has spoiled us by coaching multiple superbowl winning teams.

Bill Cowher has a .623% career win percentage, which puts him in the top 10 win % of all time head coaches. He wins more than half the playoff games he plays (.571%) which would be more if he didn't face bill belichick in two of his failed playoff runs.

even if cowher's coordinators were more successful than he was (which they're not) it still doesn't prove cowher isn't a great coach. the guy went out on top, he'll have to come back and screw up for a decade before it'd mess with his reputation.
