Awesome! Trade him for LoMo straight up, sign him to a one-year discounted "prove it" contract, and gather all the rainbows to make happy-fun-joy chowder for everyone! :singing: ;)

The key to LT's tremendous career was in being able to string together a long stretch of healthy years, a rarity in the RB business. But now that the injuries are piling up, the Chargers are probably right to view him as just another back. He has a LOT of mileage on him, far more carries than E. James when he joined the Cards or Dillon w/the Patriots.

I wouldn't mind having LT on this team. We can tie him to the bench and during the game fans can have the pleasure of throwing tomatos at him.

One of the more constructive ideas for getting value out of him. :rocker:

I hope they cut LT. About time Mr. "I'm SO classy" gets a devastating taste of humble pie. I think somebody will at least give em a 4th round pick for him though, so probably won't happen.

Hmmm ... from SD to NE near the end of his career ... anyone else reminded of this guy? Marion Butts

I was reading in one of sd's papers that the most the chargers could get in a return for lt is a 3rd rounder, if thats the case id do it in a hearbeat.

You'd be willing to take on his contract of $6.725 million this year, $8 million next? Not I.

There's some guys I simply would not root for as Patriots as this piece of slime is one of them. Keep him far, far away.

I'd have no interest in him unless he took a big pay cut (not much chance of that). Faulk does the same things in the passing and screen game and LDT (there is only one LT) isn't going to be an every down back in our system.

never say never! Mr Class may not be willing to redo his contract so he could be cut straight up

Quick, Sign you up as a talent evaluator for the JEST ;). The guys who said the at Brett Favre was as fresh as a 25 year old QB. They would love your opinions...;):p
