Belichick Interview

DenverBroncos.com had an exclusive interview with New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick on Thursday. He talked about Broncos Head Coach Josh McDaniels and how he believes he will adapt to his new position.

Here is what he had to say:

Reporter with the "Exclusive" interview: So Bill, when did you know Josh McDaniels was destined to be a head coach?

Belichick: Well, you know that's a decision that another organization makes. I never spent too much time thinking of that.

Continued by what Bill didn't say: "... but I did think about whether he might be a candidate to replace me, when I stop Coaching. But I sure won't divulge what my thoughts were..."

They probably paid him 10k for that interview, and he handed them a blank piece of paper

On playing against McDaniels and the Broncos in 2009...
"Sure, it will be different, but we've been through that quite a bit since I've been here -- coaches leaving and going somewhere else and seeing them later on. It could be Romeo Crennel going to the Browns, or now Josh going to Denver. Yeah, it's a little bit different..."

I was trying to think of one more coach that Belichick "forgot" to mention... nope, can't think of Mangini errr another coach.
