Two. Belichick and Coughlin.

It would have been 5, but Shanahan (fired), Gruden (fired), and Dungy (retired) are no longer head coaches. Neither are Brian Billick nor Bill Cowher. And Mike Martz was an OC of late, but is also unemployed. That covers all the SBs going back 10 years if I am not mistaken.

beat ya to it dabruinz, too bad you have me on block

Yup kinda of amazing that it is only two.

Some of those names are just waiting their turn in the coaching carousel.

Also, Parcells might deserve an honorable mention (won SB w/ Giants, is now above the coach on corporate ladder)

And if the Giants continue next year the way they ended this year, it might be only 1!

Holmgren is another recent subtraction, no?

Here's a trivia question:

Who was the last MVP to win a Super Bowl and what year?

The season is in one year and the Super Bowl for that season is the next year. Just wanted to make sure when some folks do a search they get the facts right.

Belichick and Coughlin. One more reason why it would have been awesome for the Pats to win in 2007. BB would be the ONLY active coach right now to have won a SB.

ssigh.....

Before I peek, I'll say (1) Coughlin. And of course (2) Belichick. I wish I could remember who won it in 1999 but my memory goes dim that far back.

yeah...amazing what some guy catching a ball on his head during a million-to-one play will do to the way a once-hated coach is perceived (and paid!) ...Tom showed his true colors down the stretch this season...

Without peeking, I would say Martz.

Edit: I peeked, Shanahan.
