They did grab Favre last year. If the Chargers don't want him I can see him going to NY. Its something they need to keep the fans happy while they ignore there playoffs record the last 25yrs. Bet they go after him.

I wouldn't expect him to do much with his injuries he's had the last few years and he is gettting a bit up in age. We all know he wouldn't like the cold of N.E. and Buffalo but think about all that Class he would bring to our division.

at this point, thomas jones is better

Re: LT to the Jets??

I don't see LT going anywhere near the RATS. I think that he will go to a contender. I feel dumb even saying this but it may happen He might end up hear, but I don't see it happening

25 Years more like FORTY that the rats really haven't done anything. You would think they would be numb to it ( loseing ) by now.

Re: LT to the Jets??

IF I were a GM, there is no way I would a offer big money to a premier veteran FA RB on their second contract based on recent history with

Sean Alexander
Larry Johnson
Edgerrin James

Re: LT to the Jets??

the jets couldnt afford him...not unless they get about 15mil more of cap space then every other team

(thinking about that, Goodell's guys may acidentally have tha tslip through their checks...)

Re: LT to the Jets??

Random player to random team thread today ?

:(

Re: LT to the Jets??

I think RB is just one of those positions where a good work ethic and a hard nose can do well for you. Take a look at Football outsiders list of RBS. You'll notice Mr. LdT is actually rated lower than average! (Meanwhile Sammy Morris is either #5 or #10, depending on which you look at - This is something our eyes told us all last season)

I don't think paying for an RB is worth it, at all. Just get some guys who want to be tough and have them jam their nose into every crease they can find (Please, no Meggett references).

Re: LT to the Jets??

It'll be another Favre circus im sure!

Good. Let the Rats throw loads of $ at a 30 year old RB

I too do not see this happening. The Jets cap is so tight not even a needle could penetrate it.
